The Challenge at WCU: Preview

Below is a preview of “The Challenge at West Chester University,” an event which features three high level Inter-Ac vs. PCL crossover games. All contests will take place on Saturday, December 10^th at Hollinger Fieldhouse on WCU’s campus.

Germantown Academy vs. Archbishop Carroll: GA’s roster is young, but immensely talented. Super sophomore Bryce Rollerson Bryce Rollerson 5'11" | PG Germantown Academy | 2025 State PA is an elusive ball handler and three level scoring threat. 6’5” freshman Bryce Presley Bryce Presley 6'4" | SF Germantown Academy | 2026 State PA is one of the most talked about 2026s in the area. Sophomore Tyler Nolan Tyler Nolan 5'11" | CG Germantown Academy | 2025 State PA projects a solid college prospect as well. Carroll’s lineup contains a host college prospects, but at the top of the list is uncommitted scoring lead guard Dean Coleman-Newsome Dean Coleman-Newsome 6'2" | PG Archbishop Carroll | 2023 State PA . Running with “DCN” is shooting guard Jake West Jake West 6'1" | SG William Penn Charter | 2025 State PA and small forward Blake Deegan Blake Deegan 6'6" | SF Archbishop Carroll | 2023 State PA . Trey Shinholster Trey Shinholster 6'2" | SG William Penn Charter | 2023 State PA and his younger brother Kai Shinholster Kai Shinholster 6'3" | SG William Penn Charter | 2025 State PA provide dead eye 3-point shooting. Keith Gee is a slasher style guard with a deep bag. Versatile forward Isaiah Grimes is a talented 2023 prospect who college coaches are sleeping on. The 2022-23 season was supposed to be a rebuilding year for Wood. Shooting guard Hayden Pegg is automatic from deep. Meanwhile, AR boasts one of the deepest lineups in the PCL. He is a dominant interior prospect and can sprinkle in the occasional three.
