The Team Rose Shootout is one of the must attend events of the season. With 12 games and 24 teams over two days we got a ton of great evaluations in at the event. Now we review what we saw including right here in Team Rose Shootout: Top Performers Pt 2!

Jamson Coulter (Rich Township – 2026)

Coulter is in the conversation for the top freshman in the state and his performance against Lindblom certainly helps his case as in his first big stage high school game he dropped 27 points. Strong bodied 6'2” guard is like a running back getting downhill changing angles on a finishing through contact on the regular. He drained mid-range shots and went coast to coast. Flashed passing including several sweet dump offs.

[player_tooltip player_id='1215286' first='Prince' last='Adams'] (Evanston – 2023)

Adams squad fell to Marian Catholic, but after a slow start the senior power forward did his job dropping 24 points and 14 boards. Didn't shoot it well from distance, but was effective with his tenacity on the glass and using his athleticism around the hoop to score. Also swatted a ton of shots on the defensive end displaying nice anticipation.

[player_tooltip player_id='1371065' first='Quentin' last='Jones'] (Marian Catholic – 2023)

The Cal Poly commit is a super athletic scoring wing that can get buckets from multiple levels. In this game he was effective playing in the open floor and used his quick second jump to score on the offensive glass for 18 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='939078' first='Bryce' last='Tillery'] (Hillcrest – 2023)

Tillery was fantastic for Hillcrest early in their win against Normal. The scoring point guard was draining pull ups like they were nothing. From mid-range and three. Shoots it with balance and pushes in transition off his defense going for 17 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='939051' first='Darrion' last='Baker'] (Hillcrest – 2023)

Akron is getting a good one in Baker. The Hillcrest four man brings a lot of versatility up front. He hit a three early in the game. Then rim ran, hit the offensive glass, and took his man off the bounce. Defensively was a force swatting multiple shots. Dropped 17 points in the win.

[player_tooltip player_id='1157233' first='Jaheem' last='Webber'] (Normal Community – 2024)

Webber's team was overwhelmed, but the top 10 prospect in the junior class held his own scoring 14 points and grabbing double digit rebounds. Old school five man that has a strong body. Snatches rebounds in traffic with his strong hands. Displayed nice footwork on a couple sweet post moves. Got on the offensive glass for put backs and had a handful of swats on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='1048307' first='Ahmad' last='Henderson'] (Brother Rice – 2023)

Henderson was the most impactful player for Brother Rice in their victory against Bloom. Only scored 13 points, but his impact was huge. He set the tone for this group with his leadership and setting others up. Drained mid-range jumpers and got to the rim for and-1s.

[player_tooltip player_id='1048314' first='Jordan' last='Brown'] (Bloom – 2023)

Best we have seen from Brown in his career and we have evaluated him a lot. Angular combo guard was in his bag going for 17 points shooting it at an exceptional clip from distance knocking in four from distance and mixing in some nice passing.

[player_tooltip player_id='1371072' first='Jakeem' last='Cole'] (Perspectives – 2023)

Cole closed out the event with 27 points in one of his first games with his new squad after transferring from Leo. He was a huge part of their comeback creating turnovers and converting them into points. Scored in transition and got to the line. Like his soft touch finishing game.

[player_tooltip player_id='939054' first='Ronald' last='Chambers'] (North Lawndale – 2023)

Chambers was outstanding for North Lawndale in their loss scoring 21 points. Strong guard that has some burst getting downhill. Loves to push in transition getting to the cup often starting the break off his defense creating turnovers.
