Jalen Haynes | 2023 | Guard | Martin Luther rnJalen did a nice job leading his team to a victory in the tip-off game of the event. The long wiry guard prospect was active and aggressive. Most of his 24 points were going towards the hoop, where he can elevate with some ease. With that though, he was 2-2 from deep. He is at his best when the game is up tempo. With that up & down pace he can apply his athleticism to create some fast break opportunity. He currently sits in the top 100 rankings of his class. He is averaging 14ppg through 8 total games this season.
Austin Herro | 2023 | Guard | Whitnall rnAustin scored 16 points in the win over Menomonee Falls to earn game MVP honors. This appeared to be his second game of the season and only Whitnall’s fourth. I came away impressed with his dynamic passing style and ability. When the ball in his hands, he calmly goes about controlling the game and tempo. He is averaging 14ppg and is currently ranked in the top 30 of his class.
Juan Guerrero Hernandaz | 2025 | Guard | GraftonrnThis young guard prospect most likely had the game of the event and had the crowd jumping with multiple dunks. He will be skyrocketing up the charts if he continues these types of performances. Juan posted an electrifying stat line of 29pts, 11 rebounds, 7 assists, 3 steals, 1 block. Right now, Juan is mostly just quicker than his opponent and gets by most when going to the hoop. With that developing shot don’t be fooled here, it’s coming. I have seen him in prior games stroke nice 3s or elevate for pull up jumpers. The sophomore already has offers from UW-Milwaukee and Albany, with Marquette & Belmont confirmed interest.
Amari McCottry | 2024 | SF | St. Thomas MoorernI have been ‘on’ this player for a few years now and think he is a wonderful prospect. Amari did not disappoint in the late game on Wednesday. He was named his game’s MVP, by posting 27pts, in St. Thomas Moore’s win over a tough Marquette team. Amari is a long and lean prototypical basketball prospect, where he uses this ability as mostly a slasher type player. After leaving the game early with an injury, he comes back in to lead his team to victory by getting to the hoop, often finishing with an athletic dunk. Also, liked the advanced foot work when posting smaller players up.
Cole Hansen | 2024 | SG | Wauwatosa West *
The Wauwatosa West player prospect led his team in points and rebounds while dishing out 4 assists. The 6’4″ 2024 G had a team-high 23 points and 10 rebounds as the Trojans beat a tough Kaukauna club 75-56.
