They defeated Math, Civics &amp; Sciences on Wednesday evening, then suited up against Archbishop Ryan a day later. The extended possessions created opportunities for Jayson Walker (G 2024) who knocked down two 3s and scored 10 points in the period. In the halfcourt, their ball movement and cuts created driving lanes as Paris and Williams scored 6 points and 7 points respectively. The emphasis on getting to the cup put STVM in foul trouble. He grabbed some offensive rebounds for himself and got to his spots inside and outside of the arc. His scoring carried them as some of their second-chance opportunities dried up for everyone else. The Raiders were even able to briefly take the lead. On the other hand, Stratford reasserted himself, getting crucial putbacks.
