Cyprus, UT

Cyprus has been building something for a few years and it is time to head out of state and sharpen their skills against the best teams they can find. Cyprus has been challenged this pre-season and one player that has been up for the challenge has been [player_tooltip player_id='934030' first='Quentin' last='Meza']. The 6'0 PG has really started to blossom athletically as he defends at a high level and uses that superior IQ. He is shooting the ball well and hitting timely shots. One of the best unsigned PG's out West that has some D1 attention from all over. They have a sharp shooter with him in [player_tooltip player_id='1057025' first='Diego' last='Mulford'] who if left open he will light it up. He is a must defend shooter at all times. Diego makes defenders chase him all over the floor. [player_tooltip player_id='1129113' first='Spies' last='Tia'] a recent D1 football signee has been a fantastic role player. Not sure if [player_tooltip player_id='1257172' first='Justus' last='Jackson-Fobbs'] will be healthy but he does provide more size to a team that needs that size to play well and rebound at a high level. Look for Arou Booming to be a big role player out there in California.

San Gabriel Academy, CA

With more than 5 players towering over 6'7 this team has height that will bother players out in the perimeter and they usually do a great job rebounding the ball on both ends of the floor. They can turnt o their bench and get excellent play from players that do not start. Marquise Humphery's is a solid 5'11 PG that plays with pace and speed. He can get in the lanes and draw two and kick or find open players. Bastian Moreau is a solid bigger off the ball guard that defends and cover a lot of ground. When SGA goes into a zone and can get stops they can really frustrate a lot of teams.

Lone Peak, UT

Lone Peak has a rich basketball history and they look to rebuild that through some young players and shooter out in the perimeter. One of the best shooters that you will see out at The Classic will be Jaxon Best this kid is lights out. When his team is finding him andhe is hitting it really opens up things for young players like [player_tooltip player_id='1146666' first='Chamberlain' last='Burgess'] who has really been playing well as of late. [player_tooltip player_id='1146663' first='Ike' last='Staley'] is another young player who has double-double potential night in and night out. Then they have a vet in [player_tooltip player_id='1116137' first='Luke' last='Fotheringham'] who does a little bit of everything to help his team win. Jorge Suarez is a big time glue guy that does the dirty work. If they can get it going from the outside watch out.
