[player_tooltip player_id='939050' first='Darrin' last='Ames'] stole the show Saturday night with a 27-point performance in a win over Michigan's St. Mary's High School. Ames displayed confidence in attacking the basket, and his ball-handling abilities were on point. He really got hot in the second half as the Kansas St. commit knocked down several outside shots in a row. Some more late buckets from Ames sealed the deal.

[player_tooltip player_id='989271' first='Mekhi' last='Cooper'], Bolingbrook, Sr

Cooper showed his ability to break defenders and share the rock with some excellent feeds throughout the game. He also hit baskets from all over the floor and never seemed to lose confidence. You see a real game-changer in Cooper that Miami-Ohio is going to love. He scored 25 points in the game despite a tough loss.

[player_tooltip player_id='1048386' first='Jaloni' last='Johnson'], Proviso East, Sr

Johnson had a strong scoring outing for the Pirates and was a difference-maker in their 73-72 win vs Perspectives. He hit several 3's and had a putback slam in the game. He finished with 20 points, 4 assists, and 2 steals.

[player_tooltip player_id='1437536' first='Trey' last='McKenney'], St. Mary's (MI), So

One of the top players nationally in the class of 2025 made some impressive plays for St. Mary's. McKenney converted two and-ones early in the game. In the second half, he scored SEVEN points in one possession. That's something I'd never seen until Saturday. He's built like an experienced senior and reads the game really well. I'm excited to follow him the next couple years.

[player_tooltip player_id='1056104' first='Chikasi' last='Ofoma'], Curie, Sr

Ofoma displayed tons of strength and power in the paint. He began the second half with an and-one putback and a dunk after an earlier putback finish in the first half too. He had numerous blocks and winning most of the rebound battle. Was a difference-maker in the paint.

[player_tooltip player_id='1215289' first='Mekhi' last='Lowery'], Oswego East, Sr

Lowery's ability to get to the rim and draw fouls was noticeable. He was a factor on the boards and made two impressive plays to his teammates. The first was a full-court feed to Starwood who dunked it home. After that, he made a behind-the-back assist off a steal in transition. He finished with 18 points, 12 rebounds, and 5 assists.

[player_tooltip player_id='1541245' first='Ryan' last='Mbounbou'], Latin, Jr

This dude stole the show when I first saw him love at the Ridgewood Shootout. He put on another scoring clinic Saturday morning with 36 points and a 54-52 win over Lindblom. Had the game-winning basket in the final seconds from a putback finish.
