Outlook: Cooper is a solid team from top to bottom that has good size. They struggled a bit with ball pressure but overall showed that have a lot of pieces to plug in to fill roles. They are a team I see drastically improving as the year goes on and could be threat to compete for a regional championship.
Rondon is a quick/fast point guard that has the ball in his hands a lot for Cooper. He struggled with ball pressure and got sped up but as the game went on he gained composure. Only being a sophomore, I see the game slowing down a lot as the year goes on. Really good passer with either hand. Struggled scoring but you can see the potential is there. A prospect to keep an eye on that will have a really good high school career.
Trevor Ollier
Trevor Ollier
Ollier is versatile wing that can play both on the perimeter and in the post. Good shooter off the catch with 3pt range. Does a good job moving without the ball finding space for open shots. Plays extremely hard and plays physical which allows him to guard every position on the court.

Johnson is a young guard that can really shoot the basketball. Made an impressive 3 to start the game. Is knock down when he gets his feet set. Only being a sophomore, I am looking forward to seeing him expand his game during his college career. Will spread the floor for them this season.
Brooks is an impressive player. Standing at 6-9 most coaches would limit him to staying around the basket, however he plays all over the floor and has guard like skills. Very good 3pt jump shooter off the catch. Love him in pick and pop situations where he is a threat to both shoot and drive. Does a good job drawing fouls and making free throws. Attacks the glass on both ends. Really like him as a stretch 4 at the next level.
Highlights
Gavin Lutz
Gavin Lutz
Lutz is the glue for Cooper. He does a little bit of everything for them and willing to do all the small things. Plays extremely hard on both ends of the floor. Sprints hard in transition and good finisher around the rim. Capable shooter from 3pt range. One of Coopers senior leaders this season.
Evan Blackburn
Evan Blackburn
Blackburn is a spark plug off the bench that provides instant energy on both ends of the floor. Has unbelievable lateral quickness which allows him to be a disruptive on ball defender. Can score in a multitude of ways. Made a tough 3 in pick and roll but also does a good job getting to the paint. His combination of strength and speed puts the pressure on defenses. Love the roll he plays for them.
Pouncy is a strong big man that does a great job rebounding and drawing fouls. Runs the floor well in transition and did a good job defending opposing big men in the paint. Didn’t get a chance to see much from him offensively, but will get easy baskets as he carves out space down low.
