The rising senior has received interest from Maine, South Florida, Stetson, VMI and others. The 6-5 combo guard also has the will to score in all three phases whether it's at the rim, mid-range or from beyond the arc. Last season as a sophomore, Maddox averaged 13 points, 6.5 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game for South Fort Myers. He is at his most aggressive when he is playing at the post. Mayfield is also very assertive when it comes to defensive rebounding, as well as finishing putbacks. Last season as a freshman, Mayfield averaged 7.7 points and 5.3 rebounds per game for Edgewater High School. Lots of growth and potential for the two-way player.
