Key was one of the more college-ready prospects we observed in the opening week. With next-level size, skill, and solid athleticism, Key has the tools to be an impact player at the next level. Offensively he’s a solid scoring option that has some nuance and craft to his game. He can create off the bounce, use counters, and generate quality looks outside of the offense. With solid range on his jumper, he can keep defenses honest and set up his drives or operate off the ball alongside a ball dominant player. However, Key has enough IQ and passing ability to initiate the offense, play in the structure and get easy looks on set plays, or be a primary playmaker and create for others. Defensively Key uses his side to guard multiple positions and disrupt passing lanes and drives- making him a solid two-way guard and an easy addition to the list
Williams is a dynamic young prospect who opened the season with a point to prove. The 2025 prospect looked comfortable in his role as a primary scorer. With excellent touch and range on his floater, he can get quality looks on the majority of his looks. On the perimeter, Williams has a Very fast release on catch-and-shoot situations and does damage as a shooter in fastbreak situations. Though he’s a capable shooter, Williams is very slithery in the open court. He has running back-like vision when exposing gaps in the defense and finding angles to the basket. With a great start to the season, Williams looks like one of the more promising prospects in his class and could turn a lot of heads by the end of the year.
Cade Morris
Cade Morris
Morris is a strong off-guard who can carry an offense-scoring load. He shows extreme comfort when shooting off the catch and is one of the best snipers in the state. With good elevation, balance, and solid form Morris can do damage from the perimeter and force his defender to stay attached. He also shows versatility as a shooter when draining shots from knocking down shots as a movement shooter off screens. Morris is also adept at creating off the dribble and attacking closeouts when the defense gets overzealous. With a plus-size frame, Morris can create mismatches in the post and get easy buckets or power through contact at the rim on his drives. While being one of the most consistent scorers in the state, Morris is definitely a prospect to keep an eye on throughout the season.
Randy Williams
Randy Williams
Williams had a solid overall showing in his performance against baker high and Spanish Fort. As a versatile point guard, Williams stuffed the stat sheet and significantly impacted the game. He showed a knack for attacking closeouts and finding his sweet spot in the midrange. He also showed he could hit some difficult shots from beyond the arc with an effective step back. On the boards, Willams rebounds extremely well for his position. He doesn’t mind challenging bigs for possessions and has enough verticality to go over the top and the toughness an effort to win with positioning. With one of the more well-rounded games at the guard position, look for Williams to continue to put up impressive numbers through the season.
