Luke plays with a swagger on the court and has the green light to shoot in this offense. He was able to rain in 5 three-pointers, only missing 5, shooting 50% from three. He made most of these off the dribble and made a dagger-contested three-pointer to help seal the victory. Multiple times in the fourth Luke used his shot fakes to make no-look passes to open teammates. He also scored near the rim using his change in pace and great body control to make tough layups and floaters.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Aiden Herrera stepped up for Mead</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Senior Aiden Herrera is not the most known name at Mead but he stepped up leading the backcourt in scoring. Aiden was a consistent scoring option for them throughout the game. He knocked down three-point shots off of the catch and was able to get downhill. At the rim, he finished tough shots through contact. Matias was tasked with guarding [player_tooltip player_id='969439' first='Tucker' last='Mills'] and did a good job of slowing down his production until the beginning of the second half where he picked up two quick fouls, for his fourth total foul. After sitting most of the third and fourth Matias came in and scored 8 straight points allowing Frederick to take the lead. Tucker is a lengthy guard who scored most of his points by getting downhill and attacking the rim. He got out on fastbreaks and finished two dunks. While he scored mostly at the rim he also was able to draw in the defense to make kick-out passes and a dish-off for assists. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Frederick X factor pieces stepped up</strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Frederick showed off their depth with many seniors contributing to the win. 6'6 wing Jacob Lovins had one dunk in each half both of the dunks got the crowd on their feet giving Frederick a ton of momentum. He also made two tough contested layups, and all of his plays fueled Frederick's crowd. [player_tooltip player_id='1577997' first='Harry' last='Singh'] made a big three-pointer and played solid defense using his quick hands to get four steals. The point guard Rylan Graham was a good decision-maker who made all the shots he took adding 9 points. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
