Will is a throwback post player in a lot of ways but he is at his best when he’s facing the bucket and hitting open cutters for shots. Gibson has an unconventional looking jumpshot but he can knock down shots from deep and he has the ability to put the ball on the floor and attack off the bounce.
Highlights
Ultimately, Shoulders will be a wing at the next level but he plays more of a post and stretch 4 for Lyon County. Brady is a good shooter and has a good feel for where his teammates are going to be cutting and feeds them for open looks. He’s a scholarship level player in college.
Evans, like Shoulders, is more of a wing at the end of the day but he often plays the 4 spot for the Panthers and plays inside the three point line more than outside of it. Alex works his tail off on the court and his motor is his best asset. He’s likely to be a football player in college but is a talented basketball player too.
Glass is long and bouncy and is one of the lesser known players in the western part of Kentucky. He had a break out at last season’s All A State tournament in Richmond and could be the biggest sleeper in the 2024 class, recruiting wise. It will be interesting to see if any coaches find their way to Todd County this season.
Clements should not be a post player (he’s only 6’4) and he’s working on moving his game out to the perimeter. Right now he’s getting increasingly comfortable on the wing so he’s becoming more of a true stretch 4 and could be a breakout player in the 5th for Taylor County this season.
