He'll make things look easy at times, then explode on you. He's a more settled player who now knows he's going to get shot opportunities within the flow. He plays at a good pace, using a quality mid-range jumper, improved handles, and movements to get himself open for good looks.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1382861' first='Amani' last='Johnson'] 6'3 of Salesian Prep HS</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>A big guard with improved handles can play positions 1-3. He's a solid body who plays with balance and strength. He does a good job of taking care of the ball using his body. He's improved his outside shooting, he'll bang inside for rebounds, and he's an intense defender with good lateral movements. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1383621' first='Samuel' last='Chavarin'] 6'2 of Bishop O'Dowd HS</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>All indications are Chavarin is ready to be a contributor on this team. Consistency will be key for him. He's a long winged hard working prospect who has improved his offensive skill set over the Spring and Summer. He's knocking down the short jumper and getting tough buckets in the paint. At 6'2 with lengthy arms, he'll fight for rebounds, and defend aggressively. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='1256579' first='Will' last='Jenkins'] 6'2 of Jesuit. He'll look to establish himself on a good team this year. He's a solid guard with good fundamentals for the position. He's good in the open court attacking the rim aggressively. He has a nice pull-up game, and sees the court to deliver quality passes to teammates on the move. He's a good all-around prospect who brings some toughness, and understands what his strength are on the court. He's a quality on ball defender, he can guard multiple positions, a tenacious rebounder at 6'2. He'll run hard and fill lanes in transition. His dribble is good enough for him to take it strong to the bucket, and play through contact. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
