Johnson took one for the team. After being a starter for the last two season, he proved he could adjust, and be just as effective, as a contributor coming off the bench. He’s one of our top defenders in the NorCal 2024 class. A solid body with the foot work and movement to stay close to who ever he was guarding. He can knock down 3’s and rebound.

In addition to being one of NorCal’s top defenders, he may jump into what they call a 3 level scorer at this level consistency will be key. At 6’3 he’s tough on the inside finishing strong and around the basket, driving in or rebounding taking it up strong. As long as he’s got his legs under him, feet right, his form is good he’ll knock down 3’s.

He just keeps adding pieces to his game. He’s one of NorCal’s best defenders with his effort and tenacity. He’s expanded his game as a shooting guard who has to be accounted for when he’s spotting up in the corners and on along the perimeter. He’s knocking 3’s at a good percentage. He has the handles, and the body to take on defenders in the paint.
