The junior was a tough opponent to go against, given his positional strength and lateral quickness. Standing right around 6'3, McLawrence plays a valuable role with Mead, doing the dirty work whenever necessary. The wing brings grittiness on nearly every possession, utilizing his wiry frame to disrupt opposing drivers and dig into the ball with authority. Given his positional strength, McLawrence is certainly capable dealing out force on drives, often freeing up space for right hand layups. Should someone miss an attempt, the wing stayed consistent crashing the glass regardless of who attempted to contain him. On the offensive end, McLawrence was more than capable attacking closeouts as a means of scoring around the rim. Should the defense play off him, he is capable spotting up for the three when given space. McLawrence currently sits at 47th and 7th among small forwards within the 2023 class.

Homer is a consistent name on here for good reason. The senior guard makes a major impact with or without the ball, all while utilizing the team system to create scoring opportunities. Standing right around 6'1, Homer has been Mountain Vista's most devastating offensive weapon not named [player_tooltip player_id='1284559' first='Caden' last='Stevens']. Through Homer's combination of staunch one on one defense and assertive help side rotations, there is little to wonder why he has such a high impact on the game. Guards within the state looking to boost their impact without the ball should all be looking at Homer and the Mountain Vista coaching staff, who have formulated an offensive system that rewards giving up the rock. Continuing to develop the jump shot and short floater will play a key role with Homer's offensive upside as a complementary scoring threat.

Kennison will be a name worth monitoring up in Loveland, due to his shooting touch off the catch and progression as a perimeter defender. Standing right around 6' tall, Kennison is a quick guard who utilizes screenwork to free himself up for off-ball scoring looks. Kennison does a great job blending positional skill and off-ball awareness to be a multidimensional perimeter scoring threat. The junior guard should be primed for a key season at Thompson Valley, where the majority of key contributors will be returning. Kennison currently sits at 31st within the class and 7th among combo guards.

King has proven to be noteworthy perimeter defender throughout the summer, playing up with Team Daum's 2023 group. He brings a no nonsense mindset, powered by physicality both as a defender and offensive playmaker. Already a dependable downhill scoring threat, King showed his progression as a pull-up shooter, often times coming out of a late defensive rotation. One area of dominance came from King's reaction speed, tipping away the rock versus a half dozen drivers. Keeping tabs on his assist numbers will be a key area for guard, given his effectiveness getting into the paint. As of now, King currently sits at 29th within the class and 6th among combo guards.
