We have been hitting the road hard over the past few weeks visiting open gyms across the state to begin previewing the upcoming season. I’m out of town this week so while I’m not able to hit in-state open gyms I wanted to begin highlighting some of the top uncommitted senior prospects entering this season. There are still players available for college coaches at any and all levels. Be sure to check out Part One and Part Two of this series as well. Now, let’s take a look at six more of the top uncommitted seniors in the state of Indiana.
- t
- Ranked as the #30 prospect in the Class of 2023 by Prep Hoops Indiana.
- Previously was offered by IUPUI.
- Lemba is an incredibly athletic, physically gifted forward. He is also a high-level track & field athlete. The 6’6” forward drives it at the defense well when he is away from the basket, finishes at a high rate at the rim, and is a great rebounder. His physical attributes alone would make him a contributor at the NAIA level. Division II programs should follow his senior season as well.

- t
- Ranked as the #31 prospect in the Class of 2023.
- No know current offers/interest at this time.
- Ball has now transferred to Decatur Central after originally beginning the year at Crispus Attucks. Last season, he dominated the Class 3A State Championship game for Beech Grove to cut down the nets. There will be eligibility concerns this season due to the transfers, but the talent level is there. Ball plays hard, is a relentless rebounder, and plays up above the rim. Division II/NAIA level prospect.

- Ranked as the #33 prospect in the Class of 2023 by Prep Hoops Indiana.
- Holds an offer from Indiana Tech.
- Slaughter is a physical, athletic guard that can really overwhelm defenders off of the dribble. He gets down hill to the rim, takes on contact, and finishes well at the end of his drives. Has transferred to Cathedral from Portage and reportedly is still awaiting an eligibility decision. A definite NAIA level point guard in the future.

- Ranked as the #34 prospect in the Class of 2023 by Prep Hoops Indiana.
- Plenty of small college interest. Earned an offer from Marian at the beginning of the year.
- Excellent catch-and-shoot ability at 6’4″ on the wing. Will be one of the primary pieces at Carmel this season and could play his way into many more offers before it is all said and done. His size and shooting alone makes him a no-brainer at the NAIA level.
- t
- Ranked as the #36 prospect in the Class of 2023 by Prep Hoops Indiana.
- Holds offers from Judson, Saint Francis, Indiana Tech, and Ohio Dominican.
- This 6’2″ guard has been one of the biggest stock-risers in the recent month or so. Almodovar is a super athletic, left-handed scorer with a silky smooth jump shot. I definitely could see him playing his way into more Division II offers with a good senior season at Noblesville. No-brainer for Crossroads League programs.
- t
- Ranked as the #37 prospect in the Class of 2023 by Prep Hoops Indiana.
- Holds offers from Franklin, Hanover, and Anderson.
- I’ve been pounding the drum for a while now for more schools to get involved with Woods. He is one of the most highly sought after guard prospects for Division III schools, but I think he is a scholarship worthy player. Elite quickness and ball handling ability, crafty finisher at the rim and in the mid-range, and can be a great on-ball defender. He would help NAIA’s and probably even some Division II programs. Don’t let the size deter you from at least giving him an in-person evaluation this winter.
