He scored 14 points on multiple dunks and aggressive drives using the dribble versus opposing defenders. He managed 6 assists, but could easily had more as he showcase excellent vision. Johnson in fact showed some of the best passing skills out of any player at the Expo, but this isn’t much of a surprise if you watched Johnson play over the last year. His ability to play both guard positions gives any team he plays on numerous options and combinations.

Having a 20 plus point, 2 block and 2 steal performance, six-foot-four-inch guard Marley Baah-Yeboah Marley Baah-Yeboah 6’3″ | SF Lakeville South | 2024 State MN notch himself as the other player of the game in this match-up. The 2024 guard from Lakeville South, really put pressure on the opposing defenders pushing the ball in transition at all times. Baah-Yeboah also a menace on defense blocking shots and jumping passing lanes for steals. His ability to adapt on defense, play multiple positions on the wing and even guarding point guards make him a valuable player that can plug and play within a team.

Desmond Ware Desmond Ware 5’10” | PG Robbinsdale Armstrong | 2025 State MN was a very impressive 2025 guard at the Top 250 Expo playing well above his Sophomore age as he matured over the Spring and Summer playing Minnesota Phenoms 17U team. The five-foot-ten-inch Armstrong point guard scored 15 points, and not many defenders could keep up with his speed and quickness especially in ISO situations. Ware’s natural playmaking was on display as he set teammates up for baskets on multiple occasions.

Liam Roche Liam Roche 6’6″ | C Farmington | 2024 State MN is a 2024 six-foot-six-inch forward forward from Farmington High School, a growing spot of talent in Minnesota hoops. Roche, scored 12 points doing most of his work inside utilizing his soft touch around the rim. There wasn’t a rebound Roche didn’t at least attempt to get, being aggressive and tough outworking opponents. One possession showed good screen and roll skills working with Concordia guard Aj Greene Aj Greene 6’1″ | PG Concordia Academy | 2023 State MN on a play Roche rolled, caught the pass and finished with a soft lay-up.

2023 guard Aj Greene Aj Greene 6’1″ | PG Concordia Academy | 2023 State MN has a growing profile within his class of hoopers in Minnesota and this season at Concordia Academy he will have his scoring limits tested as Lorenzo Levy Lorenzo Levy 5’10” | PG Minnehaha Academy | 2024 State MN as transferred to Minnehaha Academy. At the Expo the six-foot-one-inch guard showed off some of his scoring ability with his smooth lefty shot from outside the arc and his one-on-one ability. Greene’s ability to work teammates open, like the screen and roll play with Roche indicates you can’t just assume he’ll shoot the ball and try to score at every opportunity.
Six-foot-four-inch 2024 wing Torii Johnson Torii Johnson 6’4″ | SG Buffalo | 2024 State MN made an impression in ways the box score doesn’t indicate. The Buffalo wing’s ability to move on the court in places he supposed to, seal to close passing lanes, rebound, and make the right passes that lead to baskets was evident throughout this game. One pass that sticks out is the crosscourt transition pass that led to last name sharing Ryan Johnson Ryan Johnson 6’4″ | SG Lakeville South | 2024 State MN ‘s dunk. While three teammates took care of the bulk of the scoring (52 points), Torii still scored 8 on 4 shot makes. During Breakdown Fall League, Torii showcase more of his offensive punch here.
Kayden Reid-Aaron Kayden Reid-Aaron 6’1″ Simley | 2023 MN is a 2023 six-foot guard from Simley made an impression with the talent loaded Team 22 squad as in this game he scored 11 points, making 4 two-point field goals and one 3-pointer. The 3-pointer Reid-Aaron showed a smooth motion with a solid release point on the follow through.
