Let's continue covering the RCS Sports Super 16 tournament with some more prospects that showed up and showed out on Saturday afternoon in some high level contests!

[player_tooltip player_id='1359650' first='Bryson' last='Wheatfall']- Summer Creek High School (2025)

Wheatfall played the role of a do-it-all guard for Saint Pius this weekend against some of the top teams in this tournament including Seven Lakes, Beaumont United, and St. Thomas. The particular game that caught my attention where Bryson shined the brightest was against the BU Wolves. Wheatfall showed off his athleticism and length in his ability to drive to the basket and finish over the top of defenders. He also put on a three point display from long range, nailing 4 of 5 three pointers and knocked down 3 of 4 shots at the foul line. He was very masterful of his role in the offense and was able to continually control the flow of the game and use it to his advantage. Wheatfall finished the contest against the Wolves with 17 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists. Bryson will take a big step forward this year as he transfers to Summer Creek High School and will continue to impact the game whatever role he is given when he steps on the court!

[player_tooltip player_id='1448558' first='Adeniyi' last='Ogunlana']- Elkins High School (2023)

Ogunlana had a strong start to the tournament in his Knights squad's game against a tough and very disciplined Summer Creek team. He finished the contest with 16 points and 7 rebounds, being physical on the glass and also coming away with easy layups under the rim. He was never afraid to make the extra pass out to an open teammate if he was doubled or if he was given a one on one matchup, he dug deep into his bag of moves and would maneuver around the defender to the hole. Ogunlana showed me he will be one of the leaders for an Elkins team this year that is poised to make a playoff run and he will continue to be a dominant presence in the post.

Khalil-Adam Elbatrawy- Dickinson High School (2024)

Khalil showed himself to be a very effective player off the catch and shoot this weekend, showing excellent marksmanship from deep for his Dickinson Gators team, especially on Saturday afternoon against the likes of Second Baptist and Cypress Ranch. Elbatrawy was always in the right position on the court for an open shot and he also showed efficiency driving to the basket and finishing with contact as well, converting several opportunities at the foul line. He was very effective on defense, swatting away several shots coming away with a total of 12 blocks for the day in both contests and also great at using his leaps to secure rebounds on both ends of the court.

TJ Jarmon- Cypress Falls High School (2023)

TJ showed his ability to be a very effective post player this weekend, coming off the bench for a big Cypress Falls team, and he was always dominating the post whenever he was in the contest. Jarmon finished with 10 points and 7 rebounds, all coming from the defensive end where he was able to use his wingspan to secure the ball from off the glass and limit the opposing team to one shot per possession. TJ was also never scared to handle the ball up the court if it was needed of him and he also showed mastery of the pick and roll as the receiver under the basket. Many of TJ's points came off easy put backs on the offensive end and he showed great efficiency in this part of his game.
