Viktor Alao Viktor Alao 6'3" | SG Bull City Prep | 2025 State NC | 6’2 | Guard | Willow Spring High School
Mentioned as one of the GameChangers from the weekend. Viktor was a defensive terror through the four games at the Prep Hoop NC Top 250. He used he instinct to steal the ball from opposing ball handlers. He used his timing to jump the passing lanes. He also used his incredible jumping ability to grab defensive rebounds.
Caiden Jenkins Caiden Jenkins 6'4" | SG North Raleigh Christian | 2027 State NC | 6’1 | Guard | Word of God
Caiden routinely seem to be at the right place to make things happen defensively. He also seem to be going after every loose ball. Caiden also seemed to consistently seem to be matched up with the opposing teams toughest offensive player. He used his length andhis athletcism to play the passing lanes and get steals. He also managed to grab his fair share of rebounds.
Nathaniel Durham Nathaniel Durham 6'4" | PF Vance County | 2024 State NC | 6’4 | Forward | Vance County
Nathaniel was a defensive stalwart for his team. Used his long reach and jumping ability to alter shots at the basket. He was able to block quite a few shots over the weekend as well. Where he really shined is his ability to clean up the defensive boards. He seem to have a knack for knowing exactly where the shots would come off and being in perfect postion to gather the rebound.
Marcel Freeman Marcel Freeman 6'0" | PG North Johnston | 2025 State NC | 6’0 | Guard | North Johnston High School
Marcel seem to be everywhere at all times on the defensive side of the ball. His lateral quickness allowed him to stay in front of the opposition ball handler. He pick the pockets of a couple of his counterparts throughouth the weekend. He positioned himself fairly well throughout to intercept a few passes. He also did not mind mixing it up amongst the taller players, grabbing a fair share of rebounds.
