2026
Andre Tyler Andre Tyler 6'4" | SG Simeon | 2026 State IL (St. Rita)
While there were a lot of quality 2026 prospects at the event I thought Tyler might have been the most impressive among the Illinois group. The Mustangs future wing has a lanky frame with the ability to knock down shots from all over the floor. Flies around on both ends of the floor, excellent defensive shot blocking presence, and threw down dunks in transition on a regular basis.
Patrick Irvin Jr Patrick Irvin Jr 6'5" | PF Whitney Young | 2026 State IL (Whitney Young)
This 6’5” power forward was excellent on the glass throughout the event. We really liked how well he rebounded in his area snatching them with two hands in traffic on both ends of the floor. Offensively he had several put backs and showed some passing feel for a big man.
Stephen Brown (Marist)
Brown has a chance to be in the conversation for the top prospect in the 2026 class when we rank in about nine months from now. Currently checks in at 6’5” and the power forward has a strong frame with good athleticism. Very good rebounder on both ends, can handle it a little, and is a mobile defender. The offensive game needs some refinement, but there are tools to work with for sure.
Charles Barnes (De La Salle)
Barnes is a long and rangy 6’4” small forward that has an angular frame. Throughout the camp we saw glimpses of what can make him a special prospect in the freshman class. Spin moves, rim running, quick to the glass, and made several threes although there needs to be some refinement on the shot. Really like the upside here a lot!
Jaylen Brown (Simeon)
The 6’3” small forward has super long arms and a frame that he should continue to grow. He was at his best finishing in the paint on dump offs and on the offensive glass. Run/jump athlete with upside!
Jocahana Pullum (Hyde Park)
Liked the upside here out of this 6’4” bouncy small forward. Very good athlete that plays above the rim, is quick to the glass, and was a plus defender especially swatting shots.
Rico D’Alessandro (Whitney Young)
Thick bodied 6’4” combo forward is a fundamentally sound prospect that does the little things well. Very good rebounder that has skill putting it on the deck and scoring in the paint. Long term how good he will become will depend on if he grows and how the athleticism comes along, but he is a skilled combo forward to track for sure!
2027
Howard Williams Howard Williams 6'5" | SF Whitney Young | 2027 IL (Skinner West)
Williams could be one of the best long term prospects from Illinois at the event. At 6’4” this eighth grader has a solid all-around skill set being able to shoot it from distance, cover a lot of ground with his long strides, get on the glass, and was effective on the defensive end as a shot blocker.
