[player_tooltip player_id='1284456' first='Keean' last='Lloyd'] - Cherokee Trail

The senior combo-guard [player_tooltip player_id='1284456' first='Keean' last='Lloyd'] showed off his ability to run an offense efficiently from the point guard spot. Standing at 6'3 Keean has great height for a guard which allowed him to peer over defenders and make tough passes to teammates. As the ballhandler, he did a good job in the pick and roll controlling the pace and making passes threw tight windows for the roller.

[player_tooltip player_id='921099' first='Christian' last='Drummond'] - Doherty

The Colorado College committee led his team to win the tournament with his senior leadership. Christian showed off his great athleticism getting to the rim with ease. Off the dribble, he made mid-range pull-ups using crossovers to create space. Christian was able to get his teammates involved showing off his ability to play both guard positions. Watch out for Christian to have a big senior season and will be a great fit down at Colorado College the year after!

[player_tooltip player_id='1137823' first='Maurice' last='Austin'] - Pueblo South

[player_tooltip player_id='1137823' first='Maurice' last='Austin'] put up huge numbers this tournament letting everyone know he is the real deal. In all three of the games Maurice played, he had over 40 points. The biggest thing that stood out was Maurice knocking down three-point shots, we knew that he was great at attacking the rim but Maurice put on a show knocking down three-pointers off the dribble efficiently. Seeing double teams he did a good job of splitting defenders to get downhill to score or draw a foul at the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='1420185' first='Ty' last='Afraimi'] - Columbine

[player_tooltip player_id='1420185' first='Ty' last='Afraimi'] is a smooth lefty scorer who is a very good complimentary guard for Columbine. Ty knocked down three-point shots off the catch finding open spots on the floor. When getting downhill he showed off his smart decision-making and crafty scoring ability knowing when to get to the basket and when to use a floater. Ty is a lefty and plays at his own pace which makes him a guard player to guard, watch out for him to be a big scorer in his senior season.
