1. Tanner Braketa Tanner Braketa 6'1" | PG Ralston Valley | 2025 State #285 Nation CO – Ralston Valley
After an impressive off-season, Tanner Braketa Tanner Braketa 6'1" | PG Ralston Valley | 2025 State #285 Nation CO remains at the number 1 spot in the class. Tanner played up during his AAU season and was often one of the best, if not the best player on the court. He is able to stand out on the court with his ability to put the ball in the bucket. Tanner is a great shooter in most situations. He moves with purpose off of the ball and is always ready to shoot, and can create his own scoring opportunities off the dribble. Tanner is the type of scorer teams have to game plan to stop, he averaged just under 20 points a game last season watch out for him to be a big scorer once again.
2. Garrett Barger Garrett Barger 6'9" | PF Eaglecrest | 2025 State #364 Nation CO – Eaglecrest
Garrett Barger Garrett Barger 6'9" | PF Eaglecrest | 2025 State #364 Nation CO is a lengthy forward with a ton of potential. Garrett stands out due to his size, athleticism, and effort he plays with on both ends of the floor. He is a very willing defender who can guard on the perimeter or down low. Garrett uses his athleticism and long arms to be a good rim protector. Offensively he is a good roller to the basket and mover around the rim, who can catch lobs or be a dish-off option. Garrett moves very well for his size so he may have the potential to be an effective player from the wing as well.
3. Josiah Sanders Josiah Sanders 6'4" | PG Colorado Prep | 2025 State #310 Nation CO – Cherokee Trail
Josiah Sanders Josiah Sanders 6'4" | PG Colorado Prep | 2025 State #310 Nation CO is the only new player in the top five moving to the number three spot. Josiah has grown and improved his athleticism a significant amount showing big improvements. He has a great frame and now stands at 6’3 making him a match-up problem for smaller guards. He can run an offense playing the point guard spot and is a good kick-out passer who can find open teammates. Driving to the basket, he does a good job of getting downhill quickly and using a combination of long steps and physicality to finish through defenders.
4. LaDavian King LaDavian King 6'1" | CG Eaglecrest | 2025 State CO – Eaglecrest
LaDavian King LaDavian King 6'1" | CG Eaglecrest | 2025 State CO is a certified bucket-getter who has gotten more athletic over the spring and summer. LaDavian is a true three-level scorer who can finish with both hands around the rim, making him an unpredictable player to guard. He can shoot off the catch and has a very creative set of moves he uses to create space for jumpers. LaDavian’s improved athleticism has allowed him to make tougher shots around the basket through contact. Watch out for LaDavian to be one of the top scorers in the class this upcoming season.
5. Cole Scherer Cole Scherer 6'2" | PG Valor Christian | 2025 State CO – Valor Christian
Cole Scherer Cole Scherer 6'2" | PG Valor Christian | 2025 State CO is a true point guard who can control the pace of the game and set up teammates for scoring opportunities. Cole is a player who does not look for his shot first but when left open can make opponents pay. He does a very good job of changing paces to put defenders out of position. Cole is a bulky guard who can knock defenders off balance on his way to the rim to get to the rim for layups or pull up for a floater. He is a high IQ guard with good height and frame which makes him a sturdy player on both ends.
