SOME THINGS STAY THE SAME
Nobody will be surprised to see McKenney on the prospect rankings. As a matter of fact, he’s moving up the national rankings in most cases. He’s a physically strong young man that can play off contact. He has one of the best mid range games in the midwest, and maybe the country.
Seeing his name will not shock anyone. Lawson’s play is making a ton of noise in the state of Michigan and beyond. He plays with such a great combination of grit, passion, and playmaking. Lawson is so dynamic with the ball in his hands and seems to be able to create when his team needs it the most. Every coach wants a gamer like Lawson on their roster.
Westerdale really turned heads last season and into the spring and the summer. In a guard loaded class, he still manages to stand out. Westerdale is an elite and explosive shooter. He can simply change the feel and direction of a game with shot from behind the arc. Westerdale can be looked at as a staple in the upper part of the prospect rankings.
SOME THINGS NEW
It feels a little like righting a wrong in this case. Walther deserved to be on the list last time. He’s a solid shooter with tons of upside. Walther is a hard worker that’s dedicated to improving, making everyone pretty comfortable that he’ll maximize his potential.
I was so mad at myself the first time I watched some of his film. I knew that I should have evaluated Keefer sooner. He moves well in all directions, changing speed and pace with ease. Keefer is excellent in the open floor and does a great job making himself available to the lead ball handler in transition.

A player like Alger deserves to get his due. His hard work and relentlessness alone puts him in the discussion of ranked prospects. He’s tough and physical on the glass and seems to enjoy putting a body on somebody and boxing out. Alger has the potential to fill a role for a college coach some day.
