After seeing time as freshmen, the following players are set to make serious waves as a sophomore.

[player_tooltip player_id='1411403' first='Brady' last='Loughlin'] | 6'4” | G | Don Bosco Prep 2025

A loaded Ironmen backcourt has a plethora of young options who are playing at the elite level and Loughlin is one of them. Silky smooth ballhandler. A solid shooter who can move off the ball and create his own shot. He can also create his own shot off the bounce. His job was to learn as a freshman. He'll be asked to contribute as a sophomore before being a true leader as an upperclassman. Another scholarship player.

[player_tooltip player_id='1411643' first='Danny' last='Murray'] | 6'5” | G | Roselle Catholic 2025

Murray is at a level where he was offered by U-Mass without ever playing a varsity minute at RC. A well rounded lefty who can score in multiple ways and score it from beyond the arc. While he didn't see much varsity time as a freshman, his job was to simply watch and learn. This season will be another “be patient” year for Murray with the incredible inbound transfer talent to Roselle Catholic but remember this name for the coming years as his role will expand in the future.

[player_tooltip player_id='1411621' first='Myles' last='Blackley'] | 6'3" | G| Summit 2025

Blackley is a lean but powerful guard who has a good form on his jump shot and can hit shots with consistency from multiple spots on the floor. He can also handle the ball and get to the basket. A good rebounder with a solid understanding of defensive funadmentals for a young player and a prospect who exploded on to the scene as a freshman. D1 schools are taking serious interest in him.

[player_tooltip player_id='1466430' first='Asher' last='Bradley'] | 5'11” | G | Oratory 2025

Bradley came in to Oratory with a bit of hype around his name, much like Blackley did across town. He certainly lived up to the hype. He is a quick guard who's effective in the half court and can facilitate but also score the basketball. He had 13 vs Rutgers Prep and 10 vs RC, showing his potential. The future is bright for him and Oratory. He didn't have to do a ton as a freshman with the talent ahead of him but it was a good learning year.

[player_tooltip player_id='1411626' first='Zayier' last='Dean'] | 5'10”| G| Ocean Twp 2025

Ocean struggled as a team in 2021-2022 but was one of the youngest squads at the Shore. Dean was a bright spot for the Spartans and averaged 14.4PPG, including lighting up Jackson Liberty for 28. He's a lead guard who has good handles, is a quick and active player on defense and showed he's unafraid to attack the rim on offense.
