Eunique Rink Eunique Rink 6'9" | C College Achieve | 2024 State NJ , 6’8 C Payne Tech
Rink has been the anchor down low for the Lions over the past two seasons and should see an uptick in production on the offensive end. The 6’8 post is a big-time shot-blocker as he swats almost everything around the rim. Rink skies for rebounds on both ends of the floor and knows how to get position down low. He has a decent touch around the basket and is developing his range on his jumper. Rink is a physical post prospect who will be the main part of Payne Tech’s offense this season.
Matt Hodge Matt Hodge 6'8" | PF St. Rose | 2024 State #104 Nation NJ , 6’8 PF St. Rose
Hodge will be one to watch all season long for the Purple Roses as he impacts the game in a variety of ways. The 6’8 forward has a good face-up game as he can put the ball on the deck and finish around the basket, but also knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. Hodge has a good touch around the basket and is unafraid of contact down low. He is tough to box out on both ends of the floor and influences a ton of shots around the basket. Hodge is a skilled forward prospect whose ability to make plays at both ends of the floor will make him a player to watch in the Shore Conference.
Saif Al-Deen Saleh Saif Al-Deen Saleh 6'8" | C Clifton | 2024 State NJ , 6’7 C Clifton
Saleh had a strong sophomore campaign for the Mustangs and will get more touches down low in 2022-23. The 6’7 post runs the floor hard, setting himself up for easy layups in transition. Saleh sets good screens in the half court and is a solid finisher around the basket. He rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and moves his feet well on the defensive end. Saleh is a hard-working forward prospect who should have a strong junior campaign for Clifton.
Michaelangelo Oberti Michaelangelo Oberti 6'10" | C Morris Catholic | 2024 State NJ , 6’9 C Morris Catholic
Oberti had a good summer with the NJ Beasts, which should translate into a big winter. The 6’9 post plays with good footwork down low and is a solid finisher around the basket. Oberti can make passes out of the post and has a nice touch on his free throws. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and is an underrated post defender. Oberti will get more shots on the offensive end this season, which will help his stock in a big way this season.
Shane Sheehan Shane Sheehan 6'9" | PF Westfield | 2024 State NJ , 6’6 PF Westfield
Sheehan steps into a leading role for the Blue Devils down low and is a breakout contender in Union County. The 6’6 forward knows how to get position in the paint and has a nice touch around the basket. Sheehan can also knock down open jumpers on the perimeter and draw contact down low. He works hard on the glass at both ends of the floor and is an underrated defender. Sheehan will be one to watch for Westfield all season long with his ability to finish around the basket.
