Locks

[player_tooltip player_id='868219' first='Xavier' last='Booker'] (Cathedral H.S. - Michigan State): The 6'11" forward is ranked as high as #1 in the country by Rivals after a breakout summer playing with George Hill All Indy. Booker was named to the Core Indiana Junior All-Star team a year ago after leading Cathedral to a Class 4A state title. He averaged 12.5 points, 6.7 rebounds, and 2.3 blocks per game as a junior.

[player_tooltip player_id='1049169' first='Markus' last='Burton'] (Penn H.S. - Notre Dame): The statistics speak for themselves with this dynamic point guard. Burton put up 26.9 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 steals per game while leading the Kingsmen to a 24-3 record last season. His breakout performance led to him being named to the Core Indiana Junior All-Star squad and an eventual commitment to his hometown Fighting Irish. His scoring ability along with Penn's likely success make him a serious candidate to earn Mr. Basketball this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='868229' first='Myles' last='J. Colvin'] (Heritage Christian - Purdue): Colvin has continued to garner more and more national recognition after playing some USA Basketball events this summer and climbing into the Top 100 of most national ranking services. The future Boilermaker was a Core Indiana Junior All-Star member last season after averaging 18.4 points and 5.5 rebounds for the Eagles. He also shot just above 40% from three-point range. Heritage Christian will move up to compete in Class 3A this season and will be in the always competitive Sectional 27.

[player_tooltip player_id='868240' first='Joey' last='Hart'] (Linton-Stockton H.S. - Central Florida): It is hard to imagine an Indiana All-Star team without Hart. The 6'5" guard was a Core Indiana Junior All-Star selection last season and will once again lead Linton-Stockton who will be among the favorites to cut down the nets in Class 2A. Hart averaged 20.4 points per game as a junior and shot 42.2% from beyond the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='868255' first='Logan' last='Imes'] (Zionsville H.S. - Penn State): Despite missing some time due to an ankle injury, Imes still earned Core Indiana Junior All-Star honors by averaging 17.8 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 3.6 assists per game for Zionsville. The Eagles will certainly be among the top contenders in Class 4A and Imes will be a primary reason why. Look for the Penn State commit to be a serious Mr. Basketball contender and therefore a certain All-Star selection.

Likely Selections

[player_tooltip player_id='868259' first='Joey' last='Brown'] (North Central H.S. - Uncommitted): Brown will likely be one of the top players in Indianapolis this year and will turn the heads of a lot of people around the state. He was named an Indiana Junior All-Star on the "Red Group" a year ago, led North Central to a Marion County tournament championship, and averaged 13.2 points with 6.2 rebounds per game. It is hard to imagine him not being selected.

[player_tooltip player_id='1042497' first='Zane' last='Doughty'] (Ben Davis H.S. - Valparaiso): It seems odd to not have Doughty, who was a Core Indiana Junior All-Star selection last year, as a lock. He will be a key piece to one of the best teams in the state at Ben Davis. However, the Giants are so balanced that his selection could get "stolen" by a teammate for lack of a better term. Still, the 6'9" Doughty will be one of the best big men in the state and an anchor around the basket for a Class 4A favorite. He will very likely be an Indiana All-Star.

[player_tooltip player_id='935722' first='Mason' last='Jones'] (Valparaiso H.S. - Ball State): There a lot of versatile forwards in this senior class and the 6'7" Jones is certainly one of them. He was named to the "Blue Group" Indiana Junior All-Star team after averaging 18.1 points and 7.1 rebounds for the 19-5 Vikings. Jones will be one of the best players in northern Indiana this season and certainly should earn an All-Star spot.

[player_tooltip player_id='1042491' first='Sam' last='Orme'] (Carmel H.S. - Belmont): 6'8" forwards who can stretch the floor like Orme are always needed on winning basketball teams. He will be the leader of the Carmel Greyhounds this season and was named to the "Red" Indiana Junior All-Star team a year ago. Expect him to play his best basketball yet here as a senior.

[player_tooltip player_id='868224' first='JaQualon' last='Roberts'] (Bloomington H.S. North - Vanderbilt): This is another one that is a borderline "lock" as a selection. Roberts averaged 14.4 points and 9.1 rebounds last season on his way to being named an Indiana Junior All-Star on the "Red Group." He is an efficient scorer, and elite athlete at 6'7", and will look to lead Bloomington North back to the semi-state where they advanced to a year ago.

Other Candidates

[player_tooltip player_id='1226596' first='Cade' last='Brenner'] (NorthWood H.S. - Uncommitted): "Blue Group" Indiana Junior All-Star that averaged 19 points per game for 25-3 NorthWood. Best player on a Class 3A favorite.

[player_tooltip player_id='1391283' first='Ahmere' last='Carson'] (Anderson H.S. - Uncommitted): Carson will likely be one of the top scorers in the state this season. Can the selection committee really keep someone off who might average 25 points per game for a winning team?

[player_tooltip player_id='868228' first='Jermaine' last='Coleman'] (Park Tudor - Uncommitted): 6'7" left-handed shooter that averaged 17 points per game last season and was a "Red Group" Indiana Junior All-Star. Has several Division I offers and will be the best player on a potential Class 2A state title contender.

[player_tooltip player_id='868251' first='Jake' last='Davis'] (Cathedral H.S. - Uncommitted)/[player_tooltip player_id='868252' first='Jaron' last='Tibbs'] (Cathedral H.S. - Purdue Football): It seems probable that one of these two will find their way onto the All-Star team. Davi, 6'6" sharpshooter, averaged 10.2 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 3 assists per game. As for Tibbs, he was named a "Blue Group" Indiana Junior All-Star last year after averaging 13.2 points and 7 rebounds a game.

[player_tooltip player_id='868239' first='Cooper' last='Farrall'] (Culver Academy - Uncommitted): One of the top players in northern Indiana. Selected to the Indiana Junior All-Star "Blue Group" after averaging 20.9 points and 6.5 rebounds per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1272428' first='David' last='Meriwether'] (Lawrence North H.S. - Uncommitted): You can't teach 6'10". Meriwether transferred to Lawrence North where he likely won't put up the gaudy numbers he did at Metropolitan, but the Division I prospect still is coming off of being named to the "Red Group" Indiana Junior All-Star team.

[player_tooltip player_id='935727' first='Jaylen' last='Mullen'] (North Daviess H.S. - Oakland City): Mullen led North Daviess to a Class 1A state title averaging 16.3 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 4 assists per game. Now, he will compete in Class 3A and is still a real state title contender. The 5'11" guard was named to the "Red Group" Indiana Junior All-Star team.

[player_tooltip player_id='814532' first='Brandon' last='Trilli'] (Munster H.S. - Northern Michigan): Trilli will put up All-Star caliber numbers. He averaged 21.6 points and 7.6 rebounds per game for 22-5 Munster earning a "Blue Group" Indiana Junior All-Star nod. However, there might just be too much competition at his position to break through and make the team.

[player_tooltip player_id='868220' first='Ashton' last='Williamson'] (Gary 21st Century - Uncommitted): Another example of a player who will statistically deserve to be an All-Star. Williamson will flirt with a triple-double every night. He was a "Blue Group" Indiana Junior All-Star after averaging 19.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 11.4 assists per game.

[player_tooltip player_id='868218' first='Jalen' last='Hooks'] (Warren Central H.S. - Uncommitted)

[player_tooltip player_id='1379216' first='Kamari' last='Jones'] (Lawrence Central H.S. - Uncommitted)

[player_tooltip player_id='1049171' first='Dylan' last='Moles'] (Greenfield-Central H.S. - Marian)

[player_tooltip player_id='1273713' first='Sheridan' last='Sharp'] (Ben Davis H.S. - Uncommitted)

[player_tooltip player_id='1295323' first='Ian' last='Stephens'] (New Palestine H.S. - Uncommitted)
