Highlights
Jennings is 6’3 with incredible athleticism and finishing abilities around the rim. Jennings is great at attacking immediately off the catch and making a move to get to the basket. The left-handed scorer is great at utilizing his length to finish tough shots over rim protectors and can finish a drive with either hand. Jennings is terrific at using his physical tools to his advantage on the defensive end as well. His jump-out-the-gym leaping ability allows him to get blocks on the perimeter as well as mid-post area and contest shots from taller players effectively. He uses his length to pick the ball away from opposing ball handlers and intercept poor passes in the passing lanes. Jennings is a high IQ player who can bring great value to any team with his competitiveness and style of play.
Highlights
Chaikin, out of Trinity Episcopal is a 6’3 sharpshooter equipped with a lighting-quick release on his shots. Chaikin is great at running off screens, turning, and firing or getting into his quick pull-up shots off of handoffs for open 3-point looks. He is a high IQ offensive player who punishes defense with his off-ball movement and high motor. When Chaikin puts the ball on the floor he is dangerous. He can run an offense with great court vision and the ability always finds the cutters or hit big men in the dunker’s spot. Chaikin is dangerous when he is attacking the rim. He has great positional size and length and knows how to use it in his strides and finishes around the basket.
Highlights
Williford is a great young player who is an advanced shooter for his age. He is an athletic player who gets his shots off over the top of defenders. He shoots the ball with great mechanics and is able to create great looks for himself off of the dribble. Williford has a versatile offensive game, he can knock down shots within the flow of the offense with good off-ball movement or create a shot for himself out of iso situations. He has great touch when attacking the basket and can use his athleticism to rise above defenders. He is a great decision maker and willing passer when it comes to making a play, he always operates with his head and eyes up. Williford is an elite defender who will stack up blocks and steals with his great anticipation skills and leaping abilities to erase shots.
Richardson is an extremely talented young forward out of Collegiate School in Richmond. He has gotten a ton of positive attention early because of his ability to operate with such a high IQ. Richardson is a high-level playmaker who can get his paint touches at a high rate and is capable of making accurate live dribble passes. Richardson is dangerous from anywhere on the court for opposing defenses. He breaks down defenders with tight, low dribbles and a burst of speed to blow by once he creates an angle. Richardson is also equipped with a great first step and an arsenal of counter moves to create open shots for himself. The young 3-level scorer is a hard worker who will only continue to improve.
Highlights
Harvey is an unselfish wing who can walk into 3-pointers and knock them down with ease. He thrives at running off of screens, squaring up to the basket on the catch, and firing for 3 easy points. Harvey gets a lot of good looks at the basket because of his motor that allows him to stay in motion, forcing defenders to chase him around the perimeter. when you combine his motor with his size and length you get a potentially dominant shooting guard and that’s exactly what we are seeing here. The guard out of Woodberry Forest can put the ball on the floor and attack the basket as he has nice touch around the rim and the playmaking skills to punish opposing defenses for collapsing when he does put the ball on the floor.
