Top 10 PG’s in Utah

In no particular order these are some of the best PG's in the state regardless of class. Some will end up at Division 1 schools and some might not but that does not diminish the fact that all of the players on this list have next level talent. With Utah AAU programs really having success across the country as they travel and play some out of state talent they really give these players maximum exposure. Playing in-state just isnt cutting it anymore. Prep Hoops has some great events that can provide that exposure. High School teams are also staring to play out of state at events like Section 7, The Damien Classic and The Tarkanian Classic all great events that almost every player on this list has attended. Kills it in the pick n' roll and he shoots lights out as well.   [player_tooltip player_id='934030' first='Quentin' last='Meza'] || Cyprus High School || 2023 ||   One of the most fierce competitors you will see. He has an elite motor and IQ. Shoots the heck out of the ball and has a deep bag on the offensive end of the floor. He could go off for 20 and he can also go out and rack up 10+ assist as well. Good size and athleticism. He has gotten stronger and better with his handle and vision this AAU season running with Idaho Select. He can really get a team going as he makes everyone around him better. He is shooting the ball better and he just finds a way on either end of the floor, he is a winner. He plays good defense and he has an elite handle. Early Utah State commit.   [player_tooltip player_id='1532662' first='JJ' last='Mandaquit'] || RSL Academy || 2025 ||   Teams will take a look at JJ. and soon come to the realization that he is a legit D1 prospect. Three-level scorer and gets others going as he can score and distribute.   [player_tooltip player_id='1128939' first='Hunter' last='Schenck'] || Weber High School || 2024 ||   Solid PG that is killing that mid-range and he is really honing in on his outside shooting.
