[player_tooltip player_id='1578691' first='Fredrick' last='Motley'] earned a steal. Good, quick hands.

TJ Cox Steal, poke. Flashy pass on the fastbreak. TJ will be a freshman at Bartlett High School. It is unlikely he plays varsity this season, as it is typically a deep program. Very short. Probably 5'3” even. Vocal. He is part cheerleader, part leader on the floor. Clearly cares about success and has an idea how to achieve it as a team. Needs to improve his shot selection. He put matching ice bags on his legs after the event. He was not injured, but perhaps this indicates he understands how to take care of his body. This is an important skill to limiting the recovery time to a minimum.

[player_tooltip player_id='1578688' first='Eli' last='Gramling'] Stone-faced, but intense competitor. There is a lot of grit in those eyes. Eli can hit the outside shot. He earned one block helping down under the basket. His perimeter defense is just ok for now. Will not be outworked. Looks to be a D3 [prospect], as his floor.

[player_tooltip player_id='1503911' first='Dillon' last='Butler'] forced a jumper. FORCED a jumper. Attacked without hesitation. VERY tunnel-minded. But, love the dog in him. Wants to be a hero. Needs to get into the training gym more though. His eyes are big and his talent/skills are medium currently. “Just trying to shake the morning jitters out,” shared with me immediately after he checked out. Dillon is a worker. A 'yes, sir. No, sir guy.' He has a wonderful, coachable personality. He craves instruction and runs toward coaching no matter how critical of his game. He is an incredibly high-effort guy. Giving up two years to opponents, Dillon gave up not a skosh of deference. Butler fights, claws. He won rebounding battles against taller players. He defended a 6-foot-5 player with pride and modest effectiveness. Butler's low post footwork was exceptional for a sophomore, though he projects as a combo guard in time. He will likely max at 6-foot-4.

[player_tooltip player_id='1578694' first='Jace' last='Gregory'] Really good post defender and also mid-range defender. Brandon played the 4/5 for his Expo team, and played it very successfully. High effort. Rebounds well. Boxes out sharply.

[player_tooltip player_id='1578679' first='Brandon' last='Smith'] Solid all-around player. Probably 28” vertical. Very composed and clean handles. Can score in a variety of ways. Light on his feet. Quick first step.
