Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase: Team 18 Evaluations
In this article:
Prep Hoops Indiana hosted our annual Freshman Showcase on Sunday at Fishers High School and it was once again a massive success. Nearly 200 of the top Class of 2026 prospects in the state took part in the event with a ton of area scouts and AAU coaches taking in all of the action. Our team at Prep Hoops Indiana including myself, Kyler Staley, and Landon Bundy will be putting out an evaluation of every single prospect in attendance throughout the course of this week. Let’s dive on into breaking down the prospects on Team 18.
A 6’2″ post player from Paoli High School, Sullivan is very physically strong for his age and showed the ability to score around the basket at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase on Sunday. Defends his position well, rebounds, and score on the block.
A smaller point guard out of Crispus Attucks High School, Green displayed quickness with the ball in the open floor and good all-around court vision. He reads the defense well, plays without turning it over, and does a good job of initiating the offense for his team.
Goff is a skilled playmaking point guard out of Northview High School. The 5’8″ floor general is quick in a straight line with the ball, has a tight handle, and a good repertoire of finishes at the rim and in the intermediate range.
Tolbert Jr. is a dynamic guard that got to the rim consistently on Sunday. He showed off strong ball handling ability to get into the paint and has good body control to take on contact and finish at the rim. Good finisher for his age and size. One to keep an eye on at South Bend Adams.
Highlights
A 6’0″ guard with plus length from Princeton High School, Newson was an impressive prospect to evaluate at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. He moves well without the ball, has a high basketball IQ, and can get to the rim consistently off of the bounce.
An athletically built 6’3″ forward, Richardson was productive around the basket on Sunday at the Prep Hoops Indiana Freshman Showcase. He can score it on the block, defends his position well, and rebounds his area.
At 6’5″, Dobre obviously has the size at his age to be a productive forward around the basket. He is long, mobile, and displays good hands inside. The Marquette Catholic prospect ran the floor well and finished consistently at the rim. Good looking prospect.
