There’s almost nothing more exciting defensively at events like the Top 250 than a steal. Let’s look some players that forced a turnover by pulling the snatch n’ grab.

Dickerson is a smooth athlete that plays athletically on both ends. He used that athleticism to snag a steal early in the day. Dickerson did a nice job forcing low percentage decisions that led to steals by engulfing his man with good feet and length.
Highlights
Lockhart was very opportunistic with his stellar defense. He was able to wrestle free a ball from his opponent and take it to the other end for 2. Lockhart is a smart and steady defender that did a good job recognizing opportunities or steals.
Highlights
Dee didn’t just get a steal. He took the ball away and being very aware of the situation, fired a pass to a teammate for a bucket. It was a very heady play off the turnover. This smart play was very indicative of Dee’s performance throughout the day.
Thames was another athletic defender that made life difficult for his assignment. He used his quick hands to swipe the ball and finished on the other end for 2 points. Thames showed that he could defend the entire length of the floor and forced the offense to be aware of him at all times.
Odoms was terrific offensively at the Top 250, but let’s not forget that he’s a true 2 way player. He played at a fast pace and got a steal and turned it into a bucket before his opponents could even respond. Odoms is playing great basketball heading into the high school season.
