Continue ReadingLucas Gustafson Lucas Gustafson 6’0″ | PG Mankato East | 2026 State MN is a five-foot-eleven-inch guard from Mankato East and D1 Minnesota. Gustafson shows a strong feel for the game, seasoned beyond his years. He can be the lead or play off more ball dominant players but his Team 4 teammates seemed all to thrive sharing the ball and proving opportunities for each other equally. Gustafson is a dangerous outside shooter and his knowledge to be in space for teammates allows him amble chances to make plays.
Being one of the largest incoming Freshman draws eyes of interest to you in a showcase event. Kenneth Turner Kenneth Turner 6’5″ | PF St Paul Johnson | 2026 State MN is a six-foot-five-inch Center from St. Paul Johnson and played AAU with Grassroots Sizzle who although a big guy, plays the game with a very soft touch. Turner has soft hands when catching passes, and one lay-up he nibbly euro’ed for score on a screen and roll action play.
Highlights
Pierless Davis Pierless Davis 6’2″ | SG Champlin Park | 2026 State MN showcased a bit more of leadership role playing the lead guard position with Team 4 at the Freshman Showcase. Davis a five-foot-seven-inch Guard that will attend Totino Grace set-up and ran offense with relative ease assisting on three baskets. Davis also showed a aggressive streak a few times taking the ball coast-to-coast for a score and driving against defenders for lay-ups. Once by his defender Davis didn’t settle for short jumpers, he finished the play strong.
Kale Misegades Kale Misegades 6’2″ | CG Henning | 2026 State MN plays in a similar style to a 2023 Guard from Pequot Lakes Eli Laposky Eli Laposky 6’1″ | PG Pequot Lakes | 2023 State MN . Head up looking for teammates, making the pass to an open shooter, and a guard who can take charge. Misegades is six-foot-one-inch Guard from Henning and played AAU with the Minnesota Comets. In this match-up Misegades scored 11 points in the balance Team 4 attack while also assisting on three baskets.
Julian Greer Jr is a six-foot-one-inch shooting Guard from Roseville that if he grows a bit more could be a tough wing match-up. How Greer handles the attack I invison him being a secondary attack who takes advantage of mismatches of slower, heavier footed defenders.
Highlights
Rylan Mcpipe Rylan Mcpipe 5’10” | PG Robbinsdale Cooper | 2026 MN has played in front of me three times since June, and each time he’s an impressive young guard. The five-foot-seven-inch guard from Robbinsdale Cooper led Team 5 in this contest in scoring and assists, 10 point, 6 assist game. McPipe reminds a bit of former Cooper 2019 guards Jalen Justice and Jalen Miller.
Amani Kuhl Amani Kuhl 6’2″ | PG Elk River | 2026 State MN is a six-foot-guard from Elk River High School and played AAU with the rising program the Northstar Titans. Kuhl was sneaky productive playing with Team 4 scoring eight points, and he showcased a little bit of one-on-one ability on one basket early in the game.
