Bullis
2024 wing/forward Caden Diggs Caden Diggs 6'7" | SF Bullis | 2024 State #125 Nation MD looks as good as he ever from a physical standpoint. The 6-foot-7 transfer steps in and will take on a large primary role on both ends. Diggs is equipped with athleticism that can make for a fun watch in transition, but it was his approach in the half court that impressed me most yesterday. He looks more comfortable and confident putting the ball on the deck for 3-to-4 dribbles while attacking his man from the perimeter. He didn’t force shots and instead, had quite a few jumpers from the mid-range where he rose over his defender after stopping on a dime. His release looks smooth, he gets good rotation on the ball and his shots were hitting nothing but the net. This season, he’ll be expected to guard multiple positions and will be extremely valuable when facing teams who utilize ball-screens often thanks to his switchability. Diggs will unofficially visit George Mason this weekend and recently took an official visit to Richmond. More to come on the recruiting front in an individual write-up soon.
2024 Tyler Boston Tyler Boston 5'10" | PG Bullis | 2024 State #291 Nation MD had his moments yesterday during open gym. He had trouble settling into a groove from outside, so instead began attacking the rim where he showcased quick burst off the bounce to get to his spots. He brought good overall energy to the workout and was vocal in spots defensively where he had to be. Boston will be a staple once again for Coach Kelly and will be expected to orchestrate the offense as they attempt to capture the MAC title.
2023 Zane Adnan Zane Adnan 6'3" | CG Bullis | 2023 State MD wasn’t present at workouts due to being on an official visit at Albany, but he too will be a major piece to the puzzle this season.
2025 Jayson Peterson Jayson Peterson 6'8" | C Bullis | 2025 State MD is an intriguing young prospect at 6-foot-7. He should grow an inch or two over the rest of his high school career and while he just needs to continue to get reps and polish on his overall game, he caught eyes with a two-handed flush in the early going of open gym. He made the simple and right decisions as a passer from the top of the key and seems to be a guy who is always looking to reward others for making backdoor cuts or finding open spots around the perimeter.
2024 Luke Salzman Luke Salzman 6'6" | C Bullis | 2024 State MD matched up against Peterson and made him work every step of the way. The 6-foot-7 forward has a good motor and worked extremely hard on the glass at both ends. He finished on his touches inside while overcoming contact on his way up and seems to understand spacing from the forward position when setting up shop in the paint.
2024 Jewel Walker Jewel Walker 6'4" | PF Bullis | 2024 MD didn’t participate as he continues to work his way back from injury, but like Adnan, will play a big role within the rotation. At 6-foot-4, Walker plays much bigger with his activity and physical approach to the game.
2023 Nick Viqueria made consistent plays for his team on the ball. He showed some wiggle and ability to create space that resulted in looks for himself or others. When left open out on the perimeter off the catch, he made sure to make the defense pay.
2026 Angelo Dickerson forced his way onto my radar yesterday as the 6-foot freshman showcased a quick, confident trigger. The southpaw guard looked very comfortable playing along with the talent in the gym and asserted himself as a good decision maker off the dribble. Dickerson also didn’t shy away from getting after it on the defensive side of things.
