Here are the final seven freshman: (A very good group with four ranked to go along with upside forwards and a guard)
Cristian Simmons Cristian Simmons 6'8" | PF Sunnyslope | 2026 State AZ Sunnyslope
A true power forward who has a physical presence inside the paint. He can score with his back to the basket with good hands and advanced post footwork with counter moves. He rebounds well and boxes out with his strength and girth.
Brandon Stapleton Brandon Stapleton 6'4" | CG Chandler | 2026 State AZ Chandler
A strong all-around player who played up all summer long on the Prep Hoops circuit. He can make plays for his teammates and handles pressure well. He is best when he is attacking the basket off the bounce. He has a nice burst to get paint touches and usually finishes off tough layups.
Elijah Summers-Livingston Elijah Summers-Livingston 6'7" | PF Basha | 2026 State AZ Basha
Another post player with great size already and real length. He runs the court, he will gobble up rebounds and blocks shots better then most in the class with his wingspan and timing. He works best in the post but can step out and shoot the three.
Colton Watson Colton Watson 6'6" | SF Sandra Day O’Connor | 2026 State AZ Sandra Day O’Connor
A very long and bigger sized wing forward moves fluidly around the court. He can defend multiple positions and rebounds the ball well. He can get downhill with longer strides to the rim. He is all upside at this point and is definitely one to watch moving forward.
Jacob Webber Jacob Webber 6'6" | SF Kearney (NE) | 2026 NE Scottsdale Christian Academy
A long and lean scoring wing forward. He is arguably the top shooter in the freshman class regardless of position. He scores it many ways with the catch three, he has the pull-up from mid-range and can score inside off of rebounds and step back from the high post.
Elijah Williams Elijah Williams 6'5" | SF Brother Rice | 2026 State MI Scottsdale Christian Academy
One of the top wing forwards in the state and is already highly regarded in the West. He has a stronger frame, good size and length. He handles contact well with his build and rebounds in bunches. He likes getting to the rim and will hit the catch three. He can defend multiple positions with his size, length and athleticism.
Nico Wright Nico Wright 6'9" | PF Ben Franklin | 2026 State AZ Sequoia Pathfinder Academy (Pictured)
The son of former NBA player Sharone Wright is all arms and legs. He has a 7’0 wingspan and size 16 shoes. He moves fluidly up the court and leaps up quickly to dunk the ball. He will challenge, alter or block oncoming players. He takes very few strides to the to the rim to lay it in or dunk the ball.
