We dive into the positional rankings. We now look at the shooting guards for the sophomore class.

Here are the top-7 SG's in the 2025 class:

[player_tooltip player_id='1366003' first='Jaden' last='Vance'] AZ Compass Prep (PIctured)

One of the my favorite in the class seems to get a little better each viewing. He grew two inches since last year and may push out two more. He has super long arms, plus athleticism to throw it down, a shifty handle and he will defend his position.

[player_tooltip player_id='996170' first='Christian' last='Holly'] Phhoenix Prep

One of the re-classed players transferred over from Millennium. He is a stud on the break and he can make shots and defend. He works best from mid-range but can hit the catch three. His energy and scoring are his best traits.

[player_tooltip player_id='1297444' first='Kingston' last='Porch'] Mesquite

A long lefty guard can shoot it from beyond the arc. He is very good on the break and can flush it down. He is transferring over from Chandler and is looking to contribute for the defending 4A Champs off the bench and maybe earn more and more minutes as the year goes on.

[player_tooltip player_id='1401314' first='Mekhi' last='Grant'] Phhoenix Prep

A long defensive minded scoring guard who can shoot. I can see him turning into that coveted 3 and D type down the road. He can post up a little and score inside but is best as a catch and shoot player. His length allows him to defend multiple positions.

[player_tooltip player_id='1312612' first='AJ' last='Muandumba'] St. Mary's

A 3 and D type is super athletic on the break. He has strong upper body to absorb contact. He uses his quickness and length to defend multiple positions and is a terror in transition.

[player_tooltip player_id='994689' first='Noah' last='George'] Dream City Christian

A long shooting guard is one of the better catch and shoot types on the list. He has range from beyond the three point line. He can give a hard shot fake and do the one dribble side step from the perimeter. His length allows him to defend opposing guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='1377951' first='Kenneth' last='Hill'] Sunrise Mountain

A thicker scoring guard who can get downhill and score through contact. He will defend multiple positions and can play inside and out. He can make shots from the outside but likes scoring closest to the basket.
