15 – Graham Eikenberry Graham Eikenberry 6'10" | PF St Andrew’s RI | 2023 State OR , Lincoln
6A’s leader in field goal percentage and second in blocked shots, Eikenberry showed off his efficiency on both ends of the floor this off-season in AAU basketball. One of the busiest seniors in the state not only played tournaments but attended camps and made campus visits to increase his recruiting exposure, which is open to all levels. The 6-foot-11 post sticks to what he does well and gives full effort every time out.
20 – Egan Shields Egan Shields 6'10" | C Colorado Prep | 2023 CO , Ashland
At 6-foot-10 it’s hard to be under the radar, but when you’re located way down south in Ashland it’s somewhat possible. Shields continues to develop as one of the top big men in the state and it’s clear his best basketball is ahead of him. He’s really developed his post game and is tough to stop going to the hoop but can also step out and hit the occasional three. NAIA schools have already offered and a big year may lead to even more scholarships.
21 – Ty May Ty May 6'6" | PF Philomath | 2023 State OR , Philomath
A mobile and versatile big man, May is too big for most 4A teams to handle down low yet he has the skills to face the basket and either hit the outside jumper or create off the dribble. The 6-foot-6 senior continues to work on his feel for the game but has a lot of athletic potential. Also a standout on the gridiron, May will be busy this fall for the Philomath football team.
24 – Tristan Davis Tristan Davis 6'8" | PF Lakeridge | 2023 State OR , Lakeridge
The collegiate future of Davis will be in football – he’s verbally committed to play at Arizona – but the 6-foot-7 senior also ranks as one of the top posts in the state. He’s a beast down low but is capable of stepping out to show off a nice outside touch. Had he stayed at Wilsonville there’s no doubt the Wildcats would be the sure-fire 5A title favorites but now at Lakeridge, he gives the Pacers a competitive edge with his size.
28 – Ty Best Ty Best 6'6" | PF Cascade | 2023 State OR , Cascade
With the graduation of Dominic Ball, Best moves into the main post position and will be given the opportunity to shine. He’s arguably the top run-and-jump big man in the state who realy gets up and down the floor well and finishes up and above the rim. With Cascade’s graduation losses, he’ll get plenty of touches down in the paint.
50 – Evan Otten Evan Otten 6'10" | C Redmond | 2023 State OR , Redmond
Otten stepped up as a junior and ended up as one of 5A leaders in rebounding. The 6-foot-10 big man is long, lanky, and runs the floor well and over the off-season worked on his perimeter shooting to expand his game. Garrett Osborne has moved on to college which leaves Otten as possibly the top offensive threat for the Panthers.
60 – Tabor Van Deusen Tabor Van Deusen 6'5" | PF Benson | 2023 State OR , Benson
A transfer from Grant, Van Deusen gives Benson what the Techmen have sorely needed the past few years – a physical presence inside. The 6-foot-5 senior may lack height but he certainly doesn’t come up short in bulk and toughness and there’s no question he won’t back down from anyone inside. His ability to bang the boards will really come in handy for head coach Earl Clark and his staff.
