Film Breakdown: What the film shows is his craftiness. Thomas does the best job of using his body and angles to create shots than perhaps any player in his class. Also, notice his athleticism at just over 6’1 he has the ability to play above the rim.
David Nealy David Nealy 6'2" | SG Stranahan | 2026 #27 Nation FL 6’2 SG Bishop Gorman 2024 (#2PHN 2024)
Film Breakdown: It’s hard to call Richardson a 3 and D guy because he does so much more. This clip focuses mostly on the 3. He’s a sharpshooter that can make threes from catch and shoot, or coming off the move.
Ryder Elisaldez Ryder Elisaldez 6'1" | CG Bishop Gorman | 2024 State NV 6’1 SG Bishop Gorman 2024 (#9PHN 2024)
Film Breakdown: His clip begins with a clutch shot that sort of embodies everything about Elisaldez game. Athletic driver, that finishes around the rim. The other thing the film highlights is his playmaking ability, as he has the unique ability to draw and dish and is one of the best at hitting his teammates in the dunker spot.
Alijah Adem Alijah Adem 6'2" | PG Spring Valley | 2024 State #174 Nation NV 6’1 PG Spring Valley 2024 (#7PHN 2024)
Film Breakdown: Adem may be the best tough shot maker that we have in the state, and this clip highlights just that. The PG shoots it from all areas including off the bounce, in catch and shoot, and in 1 v 1 situations.
Angelo Kambala Angelo Kambala 5'10" | CG Liberty | 2023 State NV 5’10 CG Liberty 2023 (#4PHN 2023)
Film Breakdown: What I liked about “Jello”‘s film is that it had some defense in it. At 5’10 he’s one of the most tenacious defenders in the state. Kambala can also impact games with his offense as he doubles as one of the state’s top sharpshooters as well.
John Mobley Jr John Mobley Jr 6'0" | PG Wasatch Academy | 2024 State #55 Nation UT 5’11 PG Bishop Gorman 2024 (#5PHN 2024)
Film Breakdown: At first glance, I believed Mobley was going to be the easiest film study ever, deep range threes. What I learned from watching him was that he does more than just shoot it. The film will show him getting not only assists but also some hockey assists as well, proving that his passing skills are much underrated.
Jevon Yapi Jevon Yapi 6'2" | PG Red Rock Academy | 2025 State #379 Nation NV 6’0 PG Durango 2025 (#3PHN 2025) (featured image)
Film Breakdown: They call him J-Handles for a reason and the film shows why. Yapi has a tremendous wiggle that jumps out on film. Nothing he does is without some sort of flare. The PG has the oh and ah factor to his game that few guards have these days. His finishing and separation ability are slick and a few minutes of film study shows why that’s perhaps the best description of those skills.
