2023 [player_tooltip player_id='1562176' first='Jeremy' last='Fears'] (Joliet/IL) finished with co-MVP honors and was by far the best true PG of the camp. Fears is a dynamic guard who looks to put his teammates in position to score. The 6'2" guard did a great job of threading the needle through traffic and throwing accurate alleyoop passes for easy scores for his team. His handle and creativity with the ball is elite as he utilizes hesitation moves, off ball looks and has body movement to get to his spots. Fears knows how to penetrate the defense and finish inside or kick out for the open 3. An elite guard talent who can knock the jumper down with ease from both midrange and 3. Fears had an amazing assist to turnover ratio and showed why he was the co-MVP of Pangos Festival.

2023 [player_tooltip player_id='1391463' first='Garwey' last='Dual'] (Southern California Academy/CA) is the epitome of defense. The 6'4" guard was the most elite perimeter defender of the whole camp and displayed his 2 way ability. Dual has excellent lateral movement, has a high motor and has a dedication to defense. He made it hard for opponents with his knack to contest and stay in front of drives and also did an amazing job playing the passing lanes for steals. On offense, Dual excelled in attacking the rim and finishing several times with acrobatic up and unders in traffic. He has a good burst and down hill ability to go with his athleticism. Dual simply found a way to will and get the ball in the bucket each time putting up 27.5 PPG.

2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1502768' first='Mercy' last='Miller'] (Notre Dame Sherman Oaks/CA) is an elite scorer who led the whole camp in scoring output 31 PPG. Miller, the son of rap mogul Master P and little brother of former USC guard Romeo Miller, is going to go down as the best player in his family. Miller has range and supreme confidence in his jumper. He is able to both shoot the 3 ball off the dribble and also catch and shoot. His tight handles and creativity with the rock also allow him to attack the rim and finish through traffic. Standing in at 6'4 Miller is also able to use his size along his body control to change and adjust his shot near the basket. A dynamic guard who will lead the charge for ND Sherman Oaks this year.

2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1153959' first='Dylan' last='Harper'] (Don Bosco/NJ) lefty guard who finished the day with 26 pts. Harper who is the son of former NBA great Ron Harper and brother of Ron Harper Jr, is an excellent shot maker and scorer. Harper does a great job utilizing picks and reading the defense to get to his spots. He has an affinity to get to the midrange where his jumper is automatic. Harper also has long range as he hit several 3s out to the NBA line. When attacking the rim, he has good use of his body and is able to finish with both hands.

2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1189096' first='Jalil' last='Bethea'] (Archbishop Wood/PA) is a terrific shooter who has the potential to get hot quickly as illustrated with 28 pts in the 2nd half for the East on Sunday. Bethea has a fluid quick release and has good size and length for his position. While his teammates played mostly iso ball, Bethea did a great job of moving to get open and finding spots where he could get his jumper off. He loves the corner 3 ball, knows how to attack close outs, and also has a good finishing package.

2023 [player_tooltip player_id='902735' first='Ty-Laur' last='Johnson'] (St. Benedict Prep/NJ) Electric and speedy guard who pushed the pace and was an instant impact. Johnson is aggressive and is constantly in attack mode. The 2023 floor general has a tight handle and is an excellent playmaker. Johnson zipped numerous passes through traffic to set his team up. He shot the ball well both spotting up and pulling up around screens. Johnson has excellent body control and craftiness when attacking the rim and can finish numerous ways utilizing floaters, ball fakes, and look offs to get the ball in the rim.

2024 [player_tooltip player_id='1188984' first='Robert' last='Hinton'] (Harvard Westlake/CA) was the biggest stock raiser of the camp. Hinton who only played in day 2 as a replacement player came out guns blazing and didn't look back. The 6'5 combo guard threw down the biggest poster of the camp in a pick and roll situation where his defender jumped the pick and Hinton bursted to the rim and threw down a huge dunk on the help defense that had the whole gym roaring. Hinton, who has grown 5 inches in the last year, also displayed his feel and patience for the game. He hit the 3 ball with regularity, and also displayed an affinity to create for his midrange shot. A sparkplug to his team winning the final game of the camp, Hinton will look to have a huge year for the Harvard Westlake Wolverines.
