We will also mention a few players that are on the move.
6’7 F Daishaun Bui-Wilkerson || Murray High School || 2023 ||
Daishaun will now be playing for Hillcrest High School. The Class of 2023 SF has some athleticism as he is good for a few dunks or attempts a game. He has come a long way from his days at APA and Jordan High School. He is a strong lefty player on the post and he still needs to work on his right hand, dribbling and overall game but he has some intangibles that could land him a spot at a small school after high school. Hillcrest has some pieces at the guard position and with the addition of a player that can rebound and protect the paint they could get out and run some more.

|| Mountain Ridge High School || 2023 ||
Gavin has decided to leave the 6A program for a Charter School in Herriman in Providence Hall High School. Gavin had a great year this past grassroots season. Gavin is a good facilitating PG that makes that extra pass and plays fundamentally sound. He will be a big addition to a team that nearly lost all of its starters. Gavin will have an opportunity to play right away and get major minutes.
There are few other players on the move that we will highlight at another time. Let’s just say one move will likely make a 5A team the team to beat. The other player will add some more firepower and athleticism to another respective 5A program as well.
Offers
We would first like to wish former American Fork High School PG Evan Young who will head over to Creighton University as he has joined the team and will enroll at Creighton in the fall. We know he is up for the challenge to compete.
6’4 W Junior County Junior County 6'5" | PG Utah Prep | 2026 State UT || RSL Academy || 2026 ||
The youngster hasn’t even played a high school game but he has shown some people enough as he racked up an offer from UC Santa Barbara. The California D1 has been after a few Utah players and Junior joins the list of starts that UC Santa Barbara is going after.
6’4 PG Jordan Barnes Jordan Barnes 6'4" | PG Olympus | 2024 State UT || Olympus High School || 2024 ||
Jordan Barnes Jordan Barnes 6'4" | PG Olympus | 2024 State UT had a memorable grassroots season as he was running the show on one of the best teams in the country. He is now reaping the benefits after the dust has settled as he has picked up offers from Utah State University and Southern Utah University. Really like that both of these schools have started really recruiting local talent. Major game changer for local players and for them to even get that exposure and looks. Jordan is the real deal D1 PG.
6’7 W Chris Cox Chris Cox 6'7" | SF AZ Compass Prep | 2024 State AZ || Cottonwood High School || 2024 ||
They’re finally starting to see the transformation. Chris picks up an offer from New Jersey Institute of Technology (NJIT). Chris is going to rack up more looks as he plays on a grassroots team that really gets their kids exposure and it looks like they are going to really turn that team into a power next grassroots season. This just means more looks and offers for kids like Chris and other Utah kids.
