Hardiman started the day by committing to play both basketball and baseball at Mid Michigan College. His big day definitely continued after that. He looked really light on his feet offensively and was much better in open space. That’s a huge development for this brusing post player.
Kent showed a ton of development in his game on Saturday. He showed some really nice touch on his passes and showed that could deliver the ball on the move. Kent showed much improved athleticism and overall body control, which in turn allowed him to very creative with his finishes.
Muxlow is very underrated as an overall prospect. I always like to describe him as a linebacker in the backcourt. He has excellent positional size and strength. Muxlow was one of the best shooters in the building from behind the arc.
Highlights
Boggerty was a big time head turner, earning an MOP honor. He can attack the defense off the bounce and showed some real playmaking ability. Boggerty is a 2 way player that gives maximum effort on both ends of the floor.
Highlights
This young man caught my eye early in the day. He moved well offensively and attacked the glass instead of waiting for the rebound to come to him. Elmore showed a lot of upside in his game.
Highlights
I really believe that there’s a ton of upside to this young man’s already very impressive skill set. He is a big and strong guard that can outmuscle many opponents. Deutsch has a pretty jumper with 3 point range to go with that next level physical profile.
Highlights
Haroldson looks like he’s about to have a monster high school season. He’s a young many that keeps growing, both physically and with his game. Haroldson has apparently stayed in the weight room, because ho looked even stronger than the last time I saw him. Haroldson flaunted a pretty up and under bucket and was able to push the pace with accurate passes up the floor.
Brock was one of the most impressive athletes in the gym. He’s long, strong, and athletic and was one of the best rebounders at the event. Brock looked even more athletic and he was a tough finisher in the open floor.
Nadeau sent a message loud and clear at the David Barns Showcase. The message was that he should be considered one of the best players in the state. Honestly, he looked like a young man that could compete for Mr. Basketball in Michigan someday. Nadeau absolutely lit the nets on fire at the event.

Tyree Long
Tyree Long
Long is definitely a player to keep an eye on as high school season approaches. When he gets in his groove, it spells trouble for opponents. He can handle the ball, but can also play off of it and serve as a secondary ball handler that looks to score. Long can start feeling his handles and shot and put up points in bunches.
Nash was a tough stop at the David Barns Showcase. He was impressive with his versatility, defending both on the perimeter and in the paint. Nash was a menace on both ends of the floor. He will be a matchup nightmare for opponents this this high school season.
Highlights
Pleyer is as advertised as an up and coming star. He’s a smooth athlete that clearly understands the ebbs and flows of the game. He can create space with his handles, is a menace in the open floor, and can score from multiple levels.
Highlights
Cull was very impressive on Saturday. He left coaches trying to find ways to slow him down. He flashed the post quickly and established position on the block. Nash showed some strong hands, catching and securing bounce passes in traffic. He finished strong at the rim in traffic.
Highlights
Wyoming has something special brewing with this young man. He’s a solid ball handler that’s very comfortable working with his left. Calvert can break down the defense, getin the lane with the ball, and create for his teammates. He showed nice touch on his bounce pass and showed range on his jumper that extended beyond the arc.
Highlights
I thoroughly enjoyed coaching against this young man. Quite simply, he played his way into a state ranking as a prospect. He’s a strong and physical athlete that has a nice set of ball skills to go with it. With his frame and ability to score from multiple levels, he’ll be a tough cover this high school season.
This young man’s game always impresses me. He reads the game well, sees his opportunities against a defense or defender, and takes advantage of it. Bentley can score from all 3 levels and has improved greatly as a ball handler.
Odoms had a terrific day at the showcase. He proved that he could be a leader on the floor and was comfortable playing as the go to scorer. In fact, Odoms hit a free throw line jumper at the buzzer to secure his team a win early in the day. There are a lot of college coaches that should check out this young man’s game.
