After our initial updated rankings release on Monday, we’ve dove into positional breakdowns, regional rankings, and more. Now, we will turn our attention to highlighting some of the top stock-risers in the class. These prospects all climbed 10+ spots since our last update after putting together a strong summer on the AAU circuit. Let’s take a closer look at some of those prospects.
The sky is the limit for this 6’6″ prospect that keeps getting taller and expanding his game off of the dribble. Catchings has always had great catch-and-shoot ability, but his accession in the rankings has been based on his continued improvement off of the dribble. He can now attack closeouts and play above the rim at the end of his drives. His strong play on the EYBL Circuit with Indy Heat 2024 earned him his first scholarship offer from Purdue alongside a lot of high-major Division I interest. Catchings moved up from #17 to #3 overall in the Prep Hoops Indiana rankings.
If you are looking for a high-upside prospect with all of the physical tools you don’t need to look much further than this 6’4″ wing from Pike High School. Casky is an elite athlete with great physical strength and the ability to attack the rim off of the dribble. He is very tough in transition and attacks closeouts well. After a great summer playing on the NY2LA Circuit, Casky moved up from #28 to #15 overall in the state of Indiana.
Playing with Indiana Elite 2024 on the 3SSB Circuit, Sims got to show his abilities playing with and against some of the very best players in the country. The 6’6″ forward has good length, has shown off improved face-up ability away from the basket, and has skill as a scorer on the block. Sims is a good rebounder and defender around the basket as well. He jumped 15 spots in the rankings in this update moving from #34 to #19 overall.

Houser has good size on the wing and is an elite catch-and-shoot threat. At 6’4″ he also has some game off of the dribble to be a playmaker and create his own shot against closeouts. His strong summer with Indy Heat Red 2024 help catapult him all the way up to #22 overall in the state after previously being ranked #62. His 40 spot jump was one of the biggest in the state during this update. He has also started to pick up college interest from a variety of different levels.
Highlights
This impressive wing was a critical piece for an EG10 2024 squad that had a ton of success on the Prep Hoops Circuit this summer. King is an explosive athlete off of the dribble, has proven to be a consistent outside shooter, and has the length to be disruptive on the defensive end. The 6’3″ athlete continues to climb the Prep Hoops Indiana rankings with each update. He jumped from #44 to #23 overall in the state in this most recent update.
Gustin is oozing with potential and has already really started to put it together compared to his younger years. His long, mobile 6’8″ frame has always given hope for the type of player he could become. Now, he is flashing the tools such as knocking in shots out to the perimeter, having the ability to make quick straight line drives, and still having that size and length to score at the rim. Defensively he can protect the rim and rebounds outside of his area some. Gustin shot up from #97 to #44 overall in the state.
