He’s a pure three-level shot creator whose play and scoring off the ball are highly potent. Knockdown spot up and pull-up jump-shooter with awesome dribble penetration skills, once he gets inside he’s either drawing the foul call, finishing at the rim with a crafty layup, or getting the bucket with a soft touch floater that he can put up with either hand, proving to be a bit ambidextrous which really shows in his elite counter-attack moves and ability to change directions on a dime often with between the legs dribbles. Flemings became a basketball sensation the moment he stepped foot on the Brennan High School campus. He also led Brennan on a deep playoff run before falling short in the Regional Finals, just a round away from the State Semifinals. He also comes well equipped with a lightning-fast shot release and a true knack for catching and firing in a single motion. Cowgill proved to be a sharpshooting three-point marksman throughout his freshman year as he finished the season with 97 total made threes. Along with that, Cowgill put up 440 points while averaging over 12 points and 3 assists per game on 40% shooting from the field and 38% shooting from beyond the arc. An absolutely remarkable facilitator with unbelievable court vision, Buntyn may be the best passer in the state, can make every throw in the book in a blink of an eye going left and right, but he really slices defenses apart with his dimes out of the pick-and-roll and on the drive-and-kick; the speed and precision on his passes are unlike any other. He shows heightened instincts while setting his teammates up, Buntyn is constantly anticipating the defense’s next move before exploiting any space left open whether it’s a free cutting lane or open space across court from the wing-corner area. I think it’s safe to say that this kid has one of the highest ceilings of any prospect in the 2025 class.
