Cole Certa Cole Certa 6'4" | SG IMG Academy | 2024 State #129 Nation FL (Bloomington Central Catholic)
Current Ranking: #5
Previous Ranking: #15
Certa made a ten spot jump in the rankings since midway through the high school season. He was fantastic for the Illinois Wolves 16U all July in both Atlanta and Chicago. Maybe the best junior we saw all month with his consistent production. He scored at a high level making shots from distance, was creative off the bounce scoring, cut away from the ball, and passed it well. Moving into the high-major discussion.
Will Gonzalez Will Gonzalez 6'5" | SF Curie | 2024 State IL (Riverside Brookfield)
Current Ranking: #17
Previous Ranking: #36
Gonzalez is a wing that mid-major programs are really starting to focus in on after what he did this summer. Super long armed small forward that can check multiple positions on the defensive end. Offensively what stands out most is actually his passing feel for a wing. He can really distribute and play a point-forward role at times. As a scorer he is best right now as a driver using his body control at the rim showing flashes as a shooter, but can be a bit streaky.
Shaheed Solebo Shaheed Solebo 6'4" | SF Lane Tech | 2024 State IL (Lane Tech)
Current Ranking: #18
Previous Ranking: #46
Lefty wing from Lane Tech lit it up when we saw him this summer for Lane Tech. Strong bodied small forward that is an excellent straight line slasher that gets to the rim and pushes well off the defensive glass. Clean looking shooting stroke that shows potential to be a plus tool moving forward.
Connor May Connor May 6'5" | SF Palatine | 2024 State IL (Palatine)
Current Ranking: #28
Previous Ranking: NR
May went off in the final event of the summer at The Last Dance for Breakaway 16U emerging as one of the top shooting wings in the class. The 6’6” small forward could also play some small ball four if needed. What jumps off the floor is his ability to consistently knock in shots from beyond the arc. Can create his own shot or drain them off the catch.
Treshawn Blissett Treshawn Blissett 6'5" | SF Waubonsie Valley | 2024 State IL (Waubonsie Valley)
Current Ranking: #46
Previous Ranking: #73
Plus athlete at the wing spot that stands out on the floor with his physical gifts. Long armed wing who is a plus defender being able to check twos through fours. Offensively his long strides make him a tough cover in transition as a finisher or with the ball coming right at you. Showed some potential during the PHC as a passer as well.
Talen Pearson Talen Pearson 6'5" | SF Nazareth | 2024 State IL (Nazareth)
Current Ranking: #54
Previous Ranking: NR
Pearson is the younger brother of Tagen and this Nazareth star has a chance to be a scholarship prospect. Long and lanky frame with projectability. Shoots a good ball and is a creative ball handler finishing in the lane. Lot of developmental upside here!
