Both are among the elite programs nationwide as they two of the twenty four teams to qualify for Nike’s 16U Division at the Peach Jam in North Augusta, South Carolina. Here’s a look at a group of san
Dayton Forsythe Dayton Forsythe 6'3" | PG Dale | 2024 State #206 Nation , 6’3 Guard, Team Griffin
It’s been a dominating week for the small town star, as he’s pulled the strings for Team Griffin’s 3-1 squad and did so again in this victory. Forsythe hits big jumpers off the dribble, operates at a high level out of ball screens and has shown he can routinely finish against bigger competition. Some of the reads and passes he’s made out of ball screen scenarios have been collegiate level. There are times he can get a bit tunnel vision when downhill, but when Forsythe makes the right read he’s nearly impossible to stop.
TO Barrett TO Barrett 6'4" | SG Link Academy | 2024 #138 Nation , 6’5 Guard, Team Griffin
The state of Oklahoma’s fastest rising prospect has continued his ascension with not only his trademark defense and energy. But also showing off his improved offensive game. Barrett is now a good three point shooter, and has a knack for hitting timely shots in big games. To go along with that improved shooting, he usually has one athletic and powerful finish at the rim or smart pass that is fitting of a high major prospect. The Edmond North Husky still needs to continue to tighten his handle and becoming more consistent with his “end product” around the basket.
Ethan Wilkerson Ethan Wilkerson 6'7" | PF Madill | 2024 State , 6’7 Forward, Pro Skills
A high motor player, Wikerson balances that intensity with an herky jerky playing style off the drive that makes him a little unpredictable for defenders and leads to positive results. While he missed a three, he was effective in the midrange. The standout from Silo also was very willing to get his nose dirty around the rim on both ends of the court. Production matters, and he’s another small town Oklahoma kid that has proven that he can get it done at a national level.
BJ Davis, 6’5 Guard, Team Griffin
One of the top class of 2025 scorers in the country, Davis has gotten his points in a variety of ways. He’s an exceptionally strong finisher for a player of his age, while also smooth in the midrange. Add in deadeye shooting as a spot up threat and he’s backed up billing as an elite scorer.
Cameron Patterson, 6’5 Guard, Pro Skills
Scored a game high 20 points. He was able to rack up this impressive total because of his relentless driving abilities when getting down hill and was a plus finisher thanks to impressive body control. He also drew fouls at a high rate, where he went 10-11 from the charity stripe.
Jalen Shelley Jalen Shelley 6'8" | SF Link Academy | 2024 #67 Nation , 6’7 Wing, Pro Skills
Very promising wing scoring prospect due to his combination of size and fluid movement. Did well in ball screens as not only a scorer but made a couple good reads as a passer. He also knocked down a couple three pointers and the upside is clear on this interesting DFW rising junior.
