Najeh Allen | 6’3″ wing | St. Maria Goretti (MD)
Allen’s presence on the court for Goretti can be felt early and often in games. He plays bigger than his listed height. You will notice how effective Allen is at helping his team control the boards.
Gene Anderson | 6’8″ forward | Coolidge (DC)
Anderson returns to the area after spending the past year in North Carolina. He will be a force to be reckoned with in the city. Expect Anderson to record double-doubles on a nightly basis.
Tim Barton | 6’5″ forward | St. John’s (DC)
Barton is one of the late-bloomers we hinted at in our intro. He is carving out a nice role as a jack-of-all-trades for the Cadets. Barton’s understanding of defensive concepts could make him a key player for Coach Behan during the season.
Neko Bethea | 6’2″ guard | Coolidge (DC)
Bethea has a potent long-range jumper. His presence on the floor opens up ample driving lanes for others.
William Britt | 6’4″ forward | Collegiate (VA)
Britt is another late-bloomer who is coming into his own this summer. The lefty offers some floor spacing, attacks the glass strongly, and is a crafty scorer in the paint.
Ajani Lomax | 5’10″ guard | St. Mary’s-Annapolis (MD)
Lomax is growing in stature for both his high school and grassroots clubs. He has been a difference maker on both ends of the floor with his ability to handle the ball and compete defensively.
Christos Palkogiannis | 6’5″ forward | Landon (MD)
Palkogiannis is one of the more intriguing sleepers in the local 2023 class. He brings a nice combination of size and skill to the table. The native of Greece has bounced back nicely after missing his junior year due to injury.
