Jordan Frazer Jordan Frazer 6'1" | CG Cardinal Newman | 2023 State SC – Cardinal Newman – HYB Raptors (pictured on front)
Frazer really came alive in the 2nd half and helped the HYB Raptors defeat Upward Stars SE 3SSB Select. Jordan scored 17 points according to my unofficial stats. He really does a good job of scoring the ball at all 3 levels at times. Jordan would bully defenders to the rack at times when he wasn’t settling for a perimeter jumper or a bomb from downtown. Frazer connected on a few floaters in the paint also to keep the defense honest today. He sure is a pesky on the ball defender that causes problems at times for his opponents.
Justin Daniels Justin Daniels 6'2" | PG Manning | 2023 State SC – Manning HS – Team USC Premier 2023
Daniels is a HIGHFLYER and really excels attacking the basket. Justin is a Jacksonville University commit for basketball. Daniels a multi-sport athlete also plays football for the Monarchs. Justin informed Prep Hoops that he will be playing Wide Receiver this season instead of Quarterback. He has a nice mid-range pull-up game to show off at times. Daniels really excels in the transition game getting up the floor and creating his own shot.
Kaleb Caldwell Kaleb Caldwell 5'10" | PG North Central | 2023 State SC – North Central HS (Kershaw) – Team USC 2023
Caldwell wants to score the ball and he can do just that from the backcourt. Kaleb is not the biggest guy on the floor at all, but he sure can make some noise in a hurry. He will take tough shots at times and make them. Caldwell sure doesn’t lack confidence on the floor at all. Kaleb can fill up the scoring column quick at times.
Terry Leonard Terry Leonard 6'1" | CG Dorman | 2023 State SC – Dorman HS – Upward Stars Upstate 17U
Terry has really had a good spring and summer this year with his play. He can attack the basket with drives to the cup with his explosion for the rim insight. Terry can create his own shot with his quick shot release and nice mid-range game pull-up. Leonard will look to stalk the baseline for a backdoor alley-oop at times. Terry is a combo guard who had no problems finishing with both hands at the rim.
Jon David Gardner Jon David Gardner 6'2" | CG Heathwood Hall | 2023 State SC – Heathwood Hall – Upward Stars SE 3SSB Select
Gardner really likes to setup shop at times from corners. Jon is pocket ready to receive the pass and tends to show good shooting mechanics with his shot. Gardner is a good catch-shoot 3 guy who takes quality shots. He has no problems jumping on the deck for a loose 50/50 ball when needed.
Nantambu Calhoun Nantambu Calhoun 5'11" | PG JL Mann | 2023 State SC – JL Mann HS (Greenville) – Next Level Elite 2023
Calhoun wants to score the ball whenever he’s on the floor. Nantambu has a set of quick hands to pick up steals and turn them into easy points on the other end. Calhoun was able to show a very quick shot release from downtown while rattling off some points in a hurry. Nantambu uses his body well to fight off defenders on the way to the basket.
