2024 7’0 [player_tooltip player_id="1265221" first="JT" last="Rock"] - South Dakota Attack (SD)

After seeing [player_tooltip player_id="1265221" first="JT" last="Rock"] play in person for the first time, it’s clear why several Big 10 schools have bought in. The 7-footer was spectacular this weekend, including a 32 point performance in an opening night shootout versus the Atlanta Timberwolves. Rock is confident in his outside shot and converted on several deep triples. On the block, he’s got a nice arsenal of post moves and a really nice touch around the rim. He protects the rim well on defense, deflecting layups and forcing opposing offenses to shoot it.

2023 6’6 [player_tooltip player_id="969439" first="Tucker" last="Mills"] - Rocky Mountain Select (CO)

[player_tooltip player_id="969439" first="Tucker" last="Mills"] is a big guard prospect that’s well-polished and fundamentally sound. Mills handles the ball very well and provides a lot of positional versatility on both ends of the floor. He’s more than capable of running the point and creating offense but could also be dangerous spotting up for his shot or cutting to the rim. He rotates really well on defense and can guard multiple positions being 6’6. Mills already looks like a D1 guard and should only continue to grow throughout his senior season.

2023 6’9 [player_tooltip player_id="787357" first="Matt" last="Reed"] - BMM (TX)

[player_tooltip player_id="787357" first="Matt" last="Reed"] is a solid big man out of Texas that did his damage in a variety of ways throughout the weekend. Reed plays extremely tough inside and wears down opposing players with his physicality. He finishes strong through contact at the hoop and works hard to make himself available in the post. His shooting ability also helps space the floor for his offense and he’ll make the defense pay with his outside shot if they give him too much space. On the defensive end, Reed positions himself well around the basket to avoid drawing fouls and he rebounds hard. He took official visits to UNI and Richmond last month.

2024 6’6 Lukus McDaniels - Louisville Legends (KY)

McDaniels has a solid 6’6 frame and uses it to his advantage, especially when driving the lane. Playing up in the 17u division, McDaniels went to work against smaller guards and finished strong around the rim. He also proved he can score from inside and out by knocking down a few 3’s and taking defenders off the dribble. As far as I know, McDaniels has yet to receive his first offer but coaches should definitely be watching this one.

2023 6’6 [player_tooltip player_id="1492775" first="Preston" last="Parker"] - Wood Elite (GA)

[player_tooltip player_id="1492775" first="Preston" last="Parker"] impressed this weekend, running the point for Wood Elite and asserting himself early on the offensive end. He was able to get to his spots efficiently and was aggressive scoring the ball when he needed to be. Parker is a crafty ball-handler and at 6’6, provides a lot of versatility being able to play on the wing as well. He’s one of the bonafide leaders for Wood Elite and his competitive fire is contagious throughout his whole team. He picked up offers from Radford, Reinardt, & Life last month and his list should continue to grow.
