Karson Culuko Karson Culuko 6'2" | SG Pequannock | 2024 State NJ | 6’2” | G | Pequannock 2024
After making a name for himself as a freshman, the sharp shooting Culuko had a breakout sophomore season. He’s a good shooter with solid finishing skills around the rim. He’s got the ability to shoot from well beyond the arc and handles the ball well. He’s going to carry the boulder on his back for Pequannock the next two seasons. He went over 20 five times, including 22 vs Whippany Park, 21 vs Boonton and Hanover Park and 20 vs Montville and Parsippany. He’s also a solid rebounder for a guard, grabbing 14 vs Whippany Park and 10 vs West Milford. With two years to go, he’ll evolve into a college prospect.
Finn Powers | G | Pequannock 2023
Culuko’s partner in the backcourt for the Golden Panthers and a multi sport athlete. He played a support role but came on as a key performer as the season went on. He’s a sharpshooter who connected on 40 threes as a junior. He’ll be asked to team with Culuko to keep Pequannock flying this coming winter. He had a season high of 21 vs Madison, and also tossed in18 vs Mahwah and Kinnelon. He had 15 in a nailbiting state loss to Ramsey.
Matthew Niedermaier | F | Parsippany 2023
Niedermaier is a long forward who is a rock solid rebounder and a tough post player. He also has the ability to square up beyond the arc and be effective beyond the three point line. He’ll be carrying a big load on his shoulders for Parsippany as a senior and one of the only returning contributors. His top games as a junior were 22 vs Montville, 21 vs Mountain Lakes and 19 vs Boonton&Kinnelon. D3 coaches should check in.
Charlie Hurd | 6’2” | G |Boonton 2024
Hurd is a coaches dream on defense—He was one of the “charges taken” leaders in the state as a sophomore. He’s a two way player who can hit it from deep and also can finish at the rim. He showed an ability to crash the boards as well. He’s at his best as a catch and shoot guy on the wing. He exploded for over 350 pts as a sophomore, setting the stage for what is to come. Barring a major injury, he’s going to have a good shot at 1,000 pts. He had an eye popping 37 in an 84-81 loss to Hackettstown, 29 vs Passaic Charter, hit Pequannock for 20 both times and also poured in 20 on Lodi. He’s the kind of kid who D3 coaches should already be keeping a close eye on.
Kyree Fisher | 6’1” | G | Parsippany 2024
Fisher is a multi sport athlete who came on strong towards the end of last year. He’s a solid outside shooter and is also active on defense. He had 16 vs Hanover Park, 14 vs Dover and Whippany Park and 13 vs Par Hills. He’s also a QB on the football team.
