The [player_tooltip player_id=’1110114’ first=’John’ last=’Mobley Jr’] Comparison to Steph and Trae is legit - Mobley got off to a hot start in the contest, knocking down off the dribble and deep threes. His ability to reload, and shoot the ball accurately even when pushed off his spot is elite. While he may not be exactly the same as the dynamic NBA guards, he’s probably the closest high school prospect in that mode.

1st to realize how much value [player_tooltip player_id=’1022287’ first=’Khaman’ last=’Maker’] brings wins - Maker recently picked up a couple of offers from HBCU’s however I’m waiting for the rush of schools to come. When he is at his very worst, he’s an elite shot blocker whose mere presence causes offensive players to rethink shot attempts in the paint. He blocked and alter several shots in the game, making me believe that it won’t be long before more schools become intrigued with the 7’2 center.

[player_tooltip player_id=’986959’ first=’Ryder’ last=’Elisaldez’] has improved his shooting remarkably - Elisaldez struggled with shooting the ball his first two years, however, he has shown remarkable improvement over the course of the grassroots season. In the showcase, he continued his strong shooting, knocking down several shots in catch and shoot situations, proving to be a floor spacing corner specialist.

Not sure how I feel about [player_tooltip player_id=’1129386’ first=’Pharaoh’ last=’Compton’] being ejected from the game - I didn’t see the double technical, however, I think the last thing you want to do is penalize a kid’s limited opportunities because he hung on the rim for a couple of extra seconds. There’s a limited opportunity for kids to play in these types of showcase games, and I don’t quite understand the point of penalizing players for insignificant infractions.

[player_tooltip player_id=’986957’ first=’Josiah’ last=’Cunningham’] is headed for my all-showtime team - Cunningham is currently ranked 8th in the class of 2024, however, he made a case to stockriser. He’s never been spectacular, however, he has been consistently good, and his ability to consistently produce against high-level competition can’t be ignored. He was at it again against SFG scoring in transition and knocking down open corner threes.
