James Moore, 6’9 PF Patrick School
Moore has the potential to play on the wing as well, which he put on display for the NY Rens. The 6’9 forward has a good face-up game, which he uses to get to the rim and finish strong above the rim. Moore can also knock down jumpers from behind the arc and has a nice shooting touch. He uses his length to impact the game on the defensive end and rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor. Moore is a talented forward prospect who will be a player to watch over the next two seasons.
Maurice Vassell Maurice Vassell 6'9" | PF St. Benedict's | 2024 State NJ , 6’9 PF St. Benedict’s
Vassell had a good summer with the Gray Bees and the Riverside Hawks with his ability to impact the game around the basket. The lanky 6’9 forward is a big-time shot-blocker as he uses his length and athleticism to swat shots. Vassell rips down rebounds on both ends of the floor and can throw down put back dunks. He can finish around the rim and is getting more confident on the offensive end. Vassell’s stock should continue to rise with his combination of shot-blocking, athleticism and finishing ability.
Brandon Benjamin, 6’7 PF Bergen Catholic
Benjamin had a big summer with Team Rio University as he made plays on both end of the floor. The 6’7 forward has a nice touch around the basket and can finish through contact. Benjamin has an underrated handle as he can put the ball on the floor and get to the rim. He fights for rebounds on both ends of the floor and uses his athleticism to make an impact on the defensive end. Benjamin’s rise should continue with his ability to impact the game around the basket.
Tito Majak, 6’10 C Olympus Prep
Majak had a strong summer with the NY Jayhawks as he held down the interior for them. The 6’10 post ran the floor hard, creating easy layups and dunks for himself in transition. Majak finished nicely around the basket and set good screens in the half court. He uses his length and athleticism to swat shots around the rim and is a solid rebounder. Majak’s combination of shot-blocking and athleticism is something that will help his stock in a big way.
Caleb Embeya, 6’9 PF Patrick School
Embeya was a big part of the NJ Roadrunners’ success this summer as he was a force down low for them. The 6’9 forward plays with a motor that doesn’t stop on either end and is tough to box out. Embeya plays with good footwork down low and can finish around the basket. He uses his athleticism to influence shots around the rim and is developing more range on the offensive end. Embeya is gaining more confidence on the offensive end, which should help his stock in a big way.
