The first annual WIAA/WBCA June Jam will take place this weekend in Appleton with numerous Division 1, 2, and 3 schools expected to be in attendance for the "live period." Here’s a look at the top rising senior prospects to watch...

[player_tooltip player_id="963146" first="Logan" last="Arndt"] - Oconomowoc

Arndt has fallen off a bit after injuries derailed his junior season. Once upon a time, he was a top 25 prospect in this class. Still think there’s definitely room for the 6-foot-2 guard to get back there. A good athlete with bounce and creative scoring ability, Arndt is a high motor guard that leaves it all on the floor.

[player_tooltip player_id="1138463" first="Demarion" last="Burch"] - Milwaukee Hamilton

One of the top scorers in the state, Burch put up nearly 30 points per game as a junior. An explosive athlete who can get downhill and create in transition, Burch plays with a relentless mindset.

[player_tooltip player_id="981022" first="Jacob" last="Dunham"] - South Milwaukee

Terrific mid-range scorer. Dunham posted 21.2 points and 9.5 rebounds per game last season. The 6-foot-3 guard gets to his spots, rises up, and scorers over the top of defenders with ease.

[player_tooltip player_id="1138440" first="Caleb" last="Glaser"] - Forward - Appleton East

We’ve been high on Glaser for a while. A combo forward prospect that’s been trending in the right direction, Glaser just picked up his first offer from Michigan Tech. The 6-foot-7 junior has some outstanding post footwork, can face-up and slash in the mid-range, and also times/blocks shot about as well as any player in his class.

[player_tooltip player_id="1289040" first="Marcus" last="Hall"] - D.C. Everest

One of the fastest rising prospects in the state, Hall owns offers from UW-Parkside, Hillsdale, Mary, and Minnesota-Duluth. The 6-foot-5 wing has excellent positional size and is a dangerous three-level scorer who can play inside or out. Originally, thought he was more of a shooter, but Hall is proving to be an all-around player who can stuff the stat sheet. With a nice weekend, he can continue to climb the rankings.

[player_tooltip player_id="953943" first="John" last="Kinziger"] - De Pere

The No. 2 ranked prospect in the 2023 class, Kinziger holds scholarship offers from Illinois State and Toledo. As a junior, Kinziger put up 21 points, four rebounds, and four assists per game for a 25-3 De Pere squad. A sniper with in-the-gym range, Kinziger is also a relentless worker off the ball that’s willing to run through screens, open up the entire floor, and wear down defenders.

[player_tooltip player_id="963148" first="Cal" last="Klesmit"] - Neenah

After missing his entire junior season and the spring AAU circuit due to a torn ACL, Klesmit is back for Neenah. The Rockets are going through a major roster overhaul after winning the Division 1 state title. This is now Klesmit’s team. A top five prospect in 2023, the sharpshooter and assassin holds offers from UW-Green Bay and Wofford.

[player_tooltip player_id="1017916" first="Jeremy" last="Lorenz"] - Brillion

A top five prospect in Wisconsin, Lorenz holds a scholarship offer from UW-Green Bay. The 6-foot-8 forward is a versatile, budding prospect with a lot of upside. Lorenz can shoot from mid and 3-point range and features some flashes of being able to handle the ball and take defenders off the dribble. Having steadily made strides over the last three years, Lorenz continues to trend upwards.

[player_tooltip player_id="1028255" first="Arhman" last="Lewis"] - Madison La Follette

One of the most electric ball handlers in the state, Lewis can run a team. Lewis just plays with a different pace and elusiveness, able to play fast, but under control. He’s also a dangerous shooter off the dribble with some extended range. Averaged 14 points per game for a very balanced 19-5 Lancer squad in 2021-22.

[player_tooltip player_id="981027" first="Bennett" last="McCormick"] - Catholic Memorial

Terrific athlete who can slash and play above the rim. Always been high on McCormick who is a lanky, 6-foot-3 wing that stars in other sports as well. That being said, if he plays hoops at the next level, think his upside is pretty good once he gives 100 percent to that. Averaged 14 points for a pretty deep Crusader squad a year ago.

[player_tooltip player_id="981149" first="Braden" last="McGlothlin"] - Catholic Memorial

Just picked up a scholarship offer from Hillsdale. McGlothlin averaged 11 points, six rebounds, and four assists per game as a junior. A true floor general with a great feel for the game, McGlothlin not only comes up big in key moments, but makes everyone around him better.

[player_tooltip player_id="981150" first="Seth" last="Miron"] - Kimberly

A somewhat unknown prospect right now, Miron will take the lead for a very good Kimberly program next season. The skilled 6-foot-5 wing averaged in double figures for the Papermakers last season next to a pair of scholarship prospects. Budding three-level scoring ability here.

[player_tooltip player_id="981001" first="Simeon" last="Murchison"] - Milwaukee Hamilton

Murchison didn’t play last season due to transfer rules, however, this is one of the highest upside prospects in the class. The 6-foot-9 center is an imposing presence around the rim who can dominate as a shot blocker and putback scorer.

[player_tooltip player_id="981021" first="Ashe" last="Oglesby"] - The Prairie School

Oglesby had one of the better junior seasons that people weren’t talking about, averaging 19 points, 12 rebounds, and three assists per game. The 6-foot-7 forward is a smooth mismatch problem that can play inside and out. Oglesby is also a very good passing big that can create for others off the dribble.

[player_tooltip player_id="980996" first="Robert" last="Peters"] - West Allis Hale

Peters is getting better in a hurry. The 6-foot-8 forward shows some major flashes with his ability to score with his back to the basket or step away from the rim and create a jumper. Peters looks the part physically and has some sneaky good footwork on the block. This is someone Division 1 programs need to watch closely. As a junior, Peters registered 19 points and six rebounds per game.

[player_tooltip player_id="981128" first="Mason" last="Prey"] - Newman Catholic

One of the most cerebral players in the state, Prey can beat teams with his skills and his mind. He’s a combo guard that scores, rebounds, facilitates, defends, and makes high-IQ plays. On the floor, you can just see Prey dissecting every avenue and option when the ball comes in his possession and processing things quickly. Last season, he put up 23 points, seven rebounds, and four assists per game.

[player_tooltip player_id="1039325" first="Matthew" last="Schmainda"] - Brookfield East

Hillsdale is on board with an offer. Schmainda is a blue-collar, tough prospect that brings physicality to the floor. While there’s a glue guy mentality to him, Schmainda can absolutely scorer, making him one of the more unique prospects in the class. The 5-foot-11 guard is a dangerous 3-point shooter who’s also surprisingly good shooting off the bounce as well, able to shake defenders in the halfcourt.

[player_tooltip player_id="1024438" first="Alex" last="Sherwood"] - Xavier

A 6-foot-7 wing who can light it up from distance, Sherwood averaged 20 points and 10 rebounds per game as a junior. Sherwood absolutely cannot be left open. Given his terrific positional size, lanky build, and ability to handle the ball, there’s a big upside on this prospect. Northern Michigan has extended an offer. Don’t think they’ll be the last Division 2 program in the mix either.

[player_tooltip player_id="1141627" first="Maxwell" last="Tutas"] - Sheboygan North

Averaged 18.2 points per game as a junior. Solid, skilled guard who can contribute in a variety of ways. Has a noticeable chip on his shoulder and a competitive, fiery attitude.

[player_tooltip player_id="953945" first="Mac" last="Wrecke"] - Arrowhead

One of the top all-around athletes in the state, Wrecke is the third-ranked rising senior in Wisconsin. Holding offers from Wofford and UW-Milwaukee, Wrecke is an athletic slasher who can mix in his jumper. He’s rapidly improved his outside shot, able to take over games offensively.
